I can easily prove you wrong with examples from this very thread lol. And Neji does have fans, which is why it works to kill him. While I don't believe characters must die in order for there to be tension that only goes so far and Kishi made the right call to kill one. And of the Konoha 11 the ones who were most likely to die would be Lee or Neji since their characters were more or less complete by the end of Part 1. Of the two Neji was the best choice.

By this I mean that Kubo could've easily made Ichigo go through another training montage but chose not to: which I liked.

So uh...why is Hitsugaya training with the not-captain class people? I mean wouldn't it be more beneficial to train with someone like Ukitake or something?

Another thing I have to ask is whether or not Ikumi is spiritually aware. Cause seeing Ichigo go poof might be a tad too weird for a normal human.

I liked it too; spares us readers of god knows how many chapters of training if he did that.

probably because guys like Ukitake are busy with their own things and also because doing so with his own men would help him out better somehow.

I don't get the training to begin with. What did Ichigo fail to do with the asauchi's? Just because he knows his past means he can control them? Glad that's been skipped.

I'm usually a fan of the training arcs for a threat stories but this one is all over the place.

He failed the first time 'cause Black hippy Shinigami never gave him an asauchi (sp?).

So when he learned about his mother, he gave him one?

he picked his asauchi from that group like everyone is supposed to do fromt he start... he skipped that part the first time which is why Hippy Shinigami couldn't fix it for him.

Did he get Getsuga again? Looked like it.

Basically, the asauchi thought ichigo was unworthy... i assume because he didn't know about his hollow and didn't accept that it was apart of him. Now that Ichigo knows about himself, the asauchi accept him and allowed him to imprint his soul onto one of them.
