He's temporarily immortal. His bankai's old weakness was damage was linked to the user, but since he's immortal, it no longer takes damage.

At least Sajin won his fight, at least until Kubo points out the "So you think you won but I have this" thing again.

As for Komamura's bankai, its now an indestructible giant or what? At least its not a giant voodoo doll anymore.

I don't mind Komamura winning. I just hate how it happened.

Bambietta: "So wait...I basically can't do anything to you while you do what you always do and slash away."
Komamura: "Pretty much."
Bambietta: "This seems one sided and unfair...and if I were watching this I would lose all investment because one of the players is effectively unkillable."

I kinda doubt she died that easily, Demonic Phoenix, it'd be rather anti-climatic.

and yeah, he could have gone after Ywhach, but it probably wouldn't have mattered much since he doesn't know where Ywhach is and even if he did, the power difference between them would probably overcome Komamura's immortality or something.

Damn, Sajin just became a boss. Wonder who's the next Captain to "transcend." I'd guess Byakuya since he's the main Captain role.

I thought this was only the first stage. That they'd attack, some plot pause would happen and then the Captains started bringing out their new-found aces.

Ideas on where this is going?
