The Official BLEACH series Thread

Yay Rukia!

Chapter was alright. Standard setup but needed to help give us a relatively nonviolent week after all that fighting.

Its chapters like this that remind me of how slow Bleach is. Urgh.

Didn't feel slow. Seemed fairly normal for shonen manga.

Introduce bad guys...fight a little bit.

Hell, this was a relatively quick chapter.

Bleach always feels quick. Because nothing ever happens and the panels are so big you read it quickly and theres little content. But the mange progresses so sloooooooowly.

ah, that's so true. still, good things usually come to those of us who wait, so I'm sure something interesting will come around in the next few chapters.

and for a second there, I had thought that Kubo would once again have Rukia be having trouble against the enemy. nice to see that she might not have that tough a time.

And here I was hoping for a chapter introducing Ichigo to the Spirit King to build on the previous chapter.

Nodt is a creepy sob

I'm not sure if it was funny or just ****ing stupid that freaky dude didn't even try to kill Renji while he was sleeping. Also exactly why were they trying to hide. I mean I can understand hiding for a few hours but for an entire night is just ****ing weird along with the fact that this battle has taken place for over 24 hrs and still hasn't really gone anywhere.

So....Rukia is going to no-sell Nodt now?

probably has to do with his power or something. or maybe he fancies himself as a sadist. and regardless of how long or short the battle is, Yhwach profits anyway.

we'll find out next chapter.

Yhwach wants the time to balance out. If everyone dies in one day then the next day people won't be dying which I assume will weaken him or something like that.

Nah probably not. She does have more guts than Byakuya but a complete no sell seems improbable. She'll Shikai him for a bit, he'll go super mode, and then she'll use her brand new Bankai to finish him. I really hope Byakuya doesn't show up to steal her thunder.

My rant was more directed to Soul Society for not, IMO, doing enough. I mean even though I enjoy seeing them get the crap beat out of them you'd think they would be a bit more proactive or at least not let their best healer get killed so they can get a better fighter who has yet to appear.

Its Kubo, if it can happen it will happen. Though I do think he's dragging on Rukia's bankai reveal a bit too long: she has to have on considering that pretty much the only way to beat these guys it seems.

Both Nananana and Äs are shit characters as far as I'm concerned. I hope they both get taken out in one chapter, preferably the same chapter.

Well for one yeah Unohana dying was dumb and served little purpose. She can repeatedly heal Kenpachi from the brink of death but I guess herself is too much. But Soul Society not making a counteroffensive is pretty logical. Even if they aren't dead the vast majority of captains have been incapacitated with only Isane as the only worth while healer left. They don't have offensive potential except in Kenpachi, who like you said hasn't appeared, Ukitake(where IS he?), Shinsui(who seems to be coordinating), Mayuri(who frankly probably won't get involved unless he has to) and maybe Mashiro. Most SS guys are kinda weak lol.

Suspension of disbelief and PIS overload...

Is it just me or are Rukia's new shikai abilities like, *easily* bankai level?

That's an absurdly broken Shikai. It also makes sense given the context of her powers and it is a strategy that is perfect for fight As Nodt.

Still hoping As Nodt breaks out with super mega angel mode so we can see Rukia's Bankai.

Finally Rukia isn't a disappointment.

The no-selling is strong in this one. Seriously though what the hell is up with this broken ass shikai.

Hopefully the super-mode forces her to use bankai at least.

When I read she wasn't alive, I thought oh lord not another zombie mode.

I'm wondering why after being in the zero divisions palace's, are they learning they haven't been using their zanpakutou's correctly? And does that mean nearly everyone in SS haven't truly communicated with their zanpakutou?

When I read she wasn't alive, I thought "weren't you dead already?" Aren't all Shinigami dead? :I
