Now that was cool. I always knew Yachiru was a little monster. But even before this I thought it was lulz'y how she kept punching V on instinct alone.

Wonder if Yachiru has a bankai since IMO she's one of the few VC that would have a sound reasoning to having one.

It's really what I'd expect from a little girl trained by Kenpachi ^^

Heck, she must not have as much experience as she should because she hangs around Kenny so much...

Maybe. Hard to say- certainly a strong shikai.

And yet not that broken of a Shikai. It has two invisible creatures that stand behind her to help her slash stuff. Simple but effective.

Exactly. You don't have to be broken to be strong and cool.

And Yachiru gets to be a strong female character. Isane isn't getting any spotlight but at least she(like Rin in Naruto) has the excuse of being primarily a medic.

I was disappointed with this chapter to be honest. The new Sternritter sucks, Isane sucks and Yachiru sucks.

Hopefully Kenpachi will pop up and bail the girls out.

I felt like there was way to much exposition in this chapter. It was a very eyerolling kind to.

"This is how my attack works."
"Tee hee, my attack is working because this is how my attack works."
"Wait, why isn't she being affected by my attacks? My attack works this way. It should work on her."
"Oh its because of instinct."
"This is why that works."
"This is why you're supposed to think that was awesome."
"You're supposed to be impressed by this. Which is why we're having all these reaction shots. Yachiru is cool."

And then Yachiru explains how her attack works too. >:[

To be fair, at least Yachiru explained to Isane why she attacked when Isane questioned her.

But yeah, explaining her Shikai was a bit too much.

i never for once thought Yachiru DIDN'T have a bankai. To me, she has always been portrayed as being a monstrously powerful and intimidating person who (for whatever reason - turns out that reason may be because she didn't wanna kill people that Kenpachi wants to "have fun with"😉 never fights.

The fact that Ikkaku has one and Hisagi is implied to have one now too. Out of all the VC Yachiru just seemed like one of the more powerful ones simply due to the fact that she hung around Kenpachi all the time...Well a better way to put it is that Yachiru having a bankai would be less out the blue than say Rukia having a bankai.

After thinking about it, I was being very dumb. I knew that, already (about her subordinates having Bankais).

And, yes, they are afraid of her. She's clearly very powerful.

Finally we get to see Kenny in action. I feel like his shikai's gonna be really disappointing though. The only things they could make it while still making it cool would be like some armor or something... Would be funny if it was a kido based sword though, lol.

So let me guess, Kenpachi's great reiatsu will push back the effect of this new Quincy's overpowered ability?

Kenpachi was already using his Shikai. He and Ichigo are unique in that regard.

Yes, it would be funny of his sword was kido based. Would that be irony because he hates tricks like that? 😄

That's possible. And the outcome is that it is just an illusion (the stuff that the Quincy boy did). So the people are still alive.
