Hold up hold up didnt yamamoto say katen kyotsu and sogyo no katawari were the only duel zanpaktou in existence why does ichigo have em too?

How old is ichigo at this point like 17/18?

thought he was more like 20yo. he graduated high school before the Fullbringer arc. I've lost track of how much time has passed since then.

Ichigo is only 17.

I liked the chapter.

The dangai aged him to about 17 or 18 years old, but then the effects wore off. Then 17 months later, he is around that same age.

Wasn't a bad chapter at all.

Where this chapter has failed and where many like these chapters fail is no development or plot progression, at all.

Think about it: if this next chapter was removed and the chapter that is going to come out next week is going to be released, ask yourself if we would be missing anything or any understanding?

No. We wouldn't. We could pick up right where we left off with Hot-head girl being shocked at how strong Ichigo is.

I can imagine Kubo thinking along the lines of the following when writing this chapter: "Hey you guys! What's better than 1 Getsuga Tensho? Two Getsuga Tenshos at the same damn time!! I'm so smart!" 😐

But as dadudemon pointed out, this chapter didn't do anything for the plot. Though I would like to point out that the hot-headed girl in question does have a nice rack.

so far, that IS what the attack appears to be. since he's in full control of presumably all his powers now, the attack may have some kind of secondary. let's just give him the benefit of the doubt for now.

If Ichigo had killed her there would be endless complaints of Kubo killing a villain so quickly. Calm down and enjoy some fast paced action.

Is it really fast paced action if the pacing of the chapters is slower than molasses?

I'm not sure how this chapter is slow paced since the dialogue is quick, for Bleach anyway, and what time isn't spent on the action is fleshing out the characters.

That would be preferable to what we've had the last 400000000000000000000000000 chapters.

But, then again, I'm the type that enjoys when the good guys roll right over the bad guys every now and again.

Yeah but it didn't go anywhere. This chapter could've been combined with the last one if Kubo didn't use a bunch of large panels.

Also would like to point out it took almost two months to get through Gremmy just to add a point about the slow pacing.

That is a problem endemic to Bleach, not this chapter in particular.

The problem is Gremmy was billed as the strongest sternritter with reality warping powers yet his fight was a tedious slog of him not effectively or creatively using his powers. Candice on the other hand just has lightning but is using it creatively. Thunderbolts for swords, lightning wings for additional blades, arrows of lightning, and lightning from above for a change of direction. And then there was the Kenpachi fight where she used it as a whip and fast teleporting.

What I'm saying is she's a fun villain and while Ichigo will win it is fun to see all this creativity with a villain Kubo could have easily one shot.
