"♪They're Ken and Kurotsuchi
Yes, Ken and Kurotsuchi
One is a genius
And Ken will beat your ass.
Mauryi's lab's real nice
His genes he likes to splice
They're fun!
They're Ken and Kurotsu - su - su - su - chi♪"

"Yhwach Park is frightening in the dark!
All the Quincies are running wild!
Someone let the Soul King get consumed
And I know it's kind of odd
But Kubo trolls us hard
And I don't think I'll be coming back again!
OH NOOOOOOOOOO!"

... well I have clearly been missing out on something in this thread.

On another note, looks like we can expect the final battles to start soon.

Also, it looks like something funky is going on with Haschwalth. He may actually be the big bad from the Quincy. He may be the puppet master and Yhwach is his puppet. Maybe that's his Quincy power? Mind control?

Regardless, I do enjoy seeing all of the characters together. And this is clearly the end of Bleach. We have, maybe, a year left on this manga. I up Kubo does a proper resolution/ending where relationships are formed and such. I want to see Ichigo take Inoue to pound town and Renji take Rukia to poundtown. The relationships need to be resolved.

Yeah, he's got that weird vibe about him. Him and Urahara.
I too think he's the main guy, judging by his reaction or lack thereof after Yhwach absorbed the Soul King.

I feel Urahara is somehow related to either Aizen, the former Soul King, or Yhwach. The fact that he created Hogyoku, which is a significant power-up for Aizen, leads me to believe this.

I'm not saying you're wrong but that discussion was pretty much indirectly had already between Aizen and Ichigo. Basically, Aizen is super smart...but not as smart as Urahara. Urahara is more akin to a really smart and almost innocent scientist who has a strong sense of justice and righteousness. Aizen was just a megalomaniac who wanted to rule it all and used Urahara to get what he wanted.

Now, it could turn out that you're right. Urahara was shafted by Soul Society with the whole Aizen thing. But he does not seem to be one to hold grudges like that especially when he was welcomed back and pardoned for the who ordeal with Aizen. Basically, Urahara is in good graces and there are no issues or enmity anymore. It is more likely that Urahara is just a really smart guy than it is him being an antagonist based on how his character development has been going. You could still be right, but it doesn't seem likely.

He's a mysterious character. I don't really think we've seen the full extent of his powers.
It won't surprise me the least if he turns out to be just as powerful as current Aizen or Yhwach.

At least we got some Zaraki this chapter.

Ah, stuff actually happening this time 🙂

Though I always have trouble remembering which Quincy is which, with a few exceptions.

Bazz-B I can remember. This actually makes a lot of his actions sensible. Dude has trust issues up the wazoo.

I thought that was just me. The Espada were all so distinct it was easy, The Sternritter are impossible for me to remember exactly. Bazz B also being the exception for me.

Jugram and Bazz probably had the best choreographed battle sequence I've seen in a manga. 👆

Yea. They all wear uniforms, they all act superior, and they appeared in big groups.

Bazz, he's the fireguy with the mohawk, most of the rest, less-so! (Well, except for luchadore guy and imagination guy, but they both died after their big fights anyway).

I had to figure out from context the other guy was the second-in-command person ^^

Bazz-B is the exception? Not Mr. Superstar? 😉

I mentioned 'luchadore guy'.

You could tell what was going on?

I couldn't. Just more messy Kubo art, imo.

So how did Bazz-B keep his powers again? I though he lost them when Yhwach did the recall thing.

The Quincy only lost their angel mode.

Hence why he's able to still fight, though Haschwalth still has his angel mode.

Wow Bazz-B is rapidly becoming one of my favorite Quincy.

^ Bazz-B's been awesome ever since he stomped Hitsugaya & his run-in with Renji.

~ Don't tell me Jugram is doing a Gin.
