The Official BLEACH series Thread

Okay, so Kubo decides to just turn Zaraki into a pile of meat and utterly destroy him.

Mayuri saved Kenpachi's life, no doubt. And I hope they restore him to 100% whole body, of course.

They should just have Mayuri fight Yhwach at this point.

I can't believe you don't enjoy Mayuri being better than every captain he gets into a conflict with. Hitsugaya, the Vizard, and now Kenpachi.

Because its boring although this is more fun than the magic wonder drugs he used to counter the zombies.

Mayuri is such a goddamn boss. love that dude.

i fear he's heading toward death. That B!tch Nemu is sinister.

And now Mayuri's pwning the left hand of god. Welp:

They should just have Mayuri fight Ywhach at this point.

Mayuri is probably the best character in the series. It doesn't matter what he does, it's always interesting.

This is the Mayuri fight that we deserve. It doesn't hurt that it's entertaining too.

Not the word I'd use for him...

Grappling hand, explody suit, and Quincy airwalking is visually more engaging than his super drugs at the very least.

Still, Kubo shot himself in the foot. Mayuri is going toe to toe with one of Yhwach's elite. Normally wouldn't be so bad if he hadn't also shown the elite defeating the "stronger than all of Soul Society combined" Zero Division.

Mayuri had already reconfigured his nervous system for such an occasion. Of course.

A lot of the Sternritters are not dangerous because of their raw power, they're dangerous because of their abilities; and no one is more fit to handle new and unique abilities than Mayuri as he's able to protect himself from every conceivable angle and identify as they're revealed.

No, he adapted his body after being attacked, not before. It was a "reaction" thing.

Which doesn't change the fact that Mayuri is performing better than the individuals that were supposed to be stronger than the entirety of the Gotei 13. Using that logic Mayuri can beat Yamamoto just because he's weird and unpredictable.

Mayuri kills the tension in this series because if he doesn't take the Sternritter seriously why should we the reader? The sooner Uryu kills him the better off we'll be.

Yes, and they are stronger than Mayuri. But Mayuri is better prepared, and that's what gives him the advantage against opponents that can hijack your nervous system.

Not necessarily. But Mayuri would probably have a better chance against Yamamoto than Kenpachi.

Because it's an interesting fight and Pernida Parnkgjas is an interesting character, especially considering his origins.

because we already watched them destroy other people. They've proven themselves a threat.

And who says Mayuri doesn't take them seriously? You're using his personality to say he doesn't care, when in fact he cares so much that made sure he could counter them.

Another bankai reveal that completely counters the ability of an enemy with a strange power. Still it's better than fake organs I guess.

Really? I thought it was worse.
