Yeah but now it makes sense why he would attack his fellow Quincy all the time. Never had any love for them to begin with. And why he was so mad at Renji: dude has trust issues.

If he is he has been more successful at it than Gin so far. At least he has tricked the audience.

He was probably mad at Renji's tatoos in which case who could blame him.

Though if he is pulling off a Gin, why did he wait until the subject of his plans was at "seemingly" their most powerful like Gin. Wouldn't it make more sense to do this whole traitor thing before killing the Soul King?

So Yhwach was 200 years old when Jugram and Bazz-B were kids. I feel that this should be relevant somehow.

When was the first Quincy war? 1,000 years ago?

And yesh, there's worlds all over the place, isn't there? There's the three main worlds, and then just this place.

Anyway I think Jugram's uncle was molesting him.

Technically it's probably because when Yhwach sleeps, Jugo gets all of his powers...

I really like how Jugram doesn't have any Reiatsu and don't seem to be affected by it.

Overall, it was a great chapter.

Just got caught up on Bleach by reading the past eight or so chapters in a row.

Lol'd at the reveal that Jugo was molested by his uncle. Since Yhwach apparently killed said uncle, it might make sense that Haschwalth or whatever the **** his last name is didn't actually bear a grudge towards him and took to being his "other half" (did I mention that the last two chapters were gay? Because they were mad gay) so well, apparently.

What's with Jugo's sudden change of heart lol.

Probably because Yhwach was the first one to tell him that he wasn't useless.

Oh is stuff actually happening in Bleach again? I stopped reading several weeks ago, I planned on waiting until maybe end of July, early August to start reading again - I figured by that point Ichigo and co. might at least see Yhwach in the far distance

Define 'things happening', tbh.

Oh kid-Bazz... "You got selected to have a good shot at our mutual goal! Smoldering anger!". I do kinda get why Jugo turned.

Any action or actual plot advancement? I got bored of the chapter after chapter after chapter dedicated to them conversing on their way to confronting Yhwach.

Way too drawn out for me.

We're in flashback mode. A pretty good one but a flashback nonetheless.

Well from Bazz's perspective even if Jugo got close to Yhwach his lack of talent means he'd be useless when it came to killing the guy. Kid-Bazz also doesn't understand why all the training and talent he showed amounts to nil. Even if it is a goal both share it is understandable that Bazz wants to be the one who personally gets close enough to kill him since the guy burned down everything he loved.

Well this is certainly better than watching Yhwach decorate considering the power he's supposed to have now.

Though I wonder if Jugo is still going to go the Gin route or if this flashback is supposed to dissuade us from thinking that.

RIP Bazz-B.

Calling it right now: Ishida VS Haschwalth (Yhwach alluded that Ishida has the potential to surpass his own, hinting that he prob is stronger than Haschwalth as well) and Ichigo VS Yhwach (obviously)

Or maybe Aizen VS Yhwach. THEN Ichigo VS Aizen.

While that was a relatively dramatic couple of chapters, did anyone doubt the eventual curbstomp outcome for a second?

Still, it's a way in, and the original plan was to do so together, so it's half in place.

If he wasn't so full of himself, Jugo might not have turned.

Does anyone remember the last time there was a fight in Bleach that didn't result in a curbstomp or turn into a stomping match?

Though at this point I'd genuinely be surprised if Jugo pulled a Gin on Yhwach.
