I took that to mean regular Yhwach. Did they ever see Yhwach as he currently is?

Probably base.

In other news Orihime has more backbone than Ichigo. Oh and I guess Byakuya and friends are still stumped fighting Valkyrie.

Hah, fail. It's looking like Bleach may be stronger than Naruto at this point through haxxx alone, though.

I guess Ichigo's last powerup is going to be Vollstandig? Oh, and weird theory here, but... Is it possible that FGT was actually some form of Letzt Stil?

Nah, Naruto's still above Bleach. Until Bleach gets some measurable feats, that is.

But yeah, Ichigo needs a vollstandig at this point, at the minimum. If he can stack his bankai, vollstandig, and a ressurecion, then I can see him pulling a win, but otherwise, he's done.

Ywach is too much.

Ichigo gets a new bankai and it does nothing. Well maybe Ichigo should get another convenient power-up or just stop trying to fight him 1v1.

Also weren't Isshin and Ryuken supposed to be a thing?

Ichigo lost his powers... again. The bad guy got away... again. We're going through a training for the final battle arc... AGAIN. The f*ck, Kubo?

This manga is apparently ending in 5 chapters. Sad.

Inb4 Bleach ends with a villain victory.

That would actually be unexpected enough of a twist to gain my approval, tbh. More likely, though, that the final fight is just going to be incredibly short & lame.

It depends on what Kubo does. I think it is noteworthy that now all the Shinigami are free to charge at him. Maybe everyone will give Ichigo power similar to how Kill la Kill ended. Maybe Aizen's Bankai can trick Yhwach's ability. Maybe the Soul King did something before his "death" to ensure Ichigo becomes the Soul King.

All I know is that Rukia showed up in the last episode and since she is the best character that means nothing but good news.
