the Thing a high Class 100?!

I think the Thing is a high Class 100. I mean, Thor is right, and ive heard characters say that the Thing is actually stronger than Thor. Specifically, in an X-Man comic i just read. In the comic, Franklin and Nate are talking about the Avengers, and Thor's name comes up. Franklin tells Nate that Thor always thinks he's stronger than his "Unca' Ben", but that Franklin never believes him. Then Franklin asks Nate who is really stronger or something like that and Nate says that he has had confrontations with both and has completely scanned both of their current potentials and said that Franklin's right, the Thing has more pure physical strength than Thor. So if this is true, that means the Thing is actually a high Class 100, just like Thor and the Hulk and many others.

What does everyone think of that?

I don't see it I mean he never beats the Hulk he got knocked out by Juggs in three blows of course that is two more blows than what colossus took.

Thor = < Juggernaught

Juggernaught = Knocked an enhanced Thing out with Three punches

Thor = Alot Stronger than Thing.

Marvel Class system = shit

no... it was in X-Man just before Apoc tried to take him as a host and they did that whole thing with weird;y altered realities all over Marvel (Wolverine's comic featured the New Fantastic Four of himself, Spidey, Ghost Rider and Hulk)

but Nate never said that..... Franklin was going on about how he thinks Thing is stronger and Nate never really commented either way (i think.... i may look it up to be certain.... but i'm pretty sure Armando's got it wrong here)

They are probably not as far behind each other as the stupid Class system suggests, though. Thor still = stronger.

Armando you know Thing isnt a high class 100. She hulk isnt a high class 100 and she embarassingly maxed out his max lifting capacity with one arm. High class 100 are people like Hulk and Thanos people who have immeasureable strength, who can lift ridiculous amounts. Thing is far from one of them. He still isnt officially class 100 yet. The F4 hbk 2005 states him as level 6 which encompasses 75 tons up to 100 tons. Therefore there is no evidence that thing has improved from the last hbk where he is class 85.

The marvel system is messed up and characters seem to be able to lift way more than their class rating suggests. However those who are high class 100 have a rating of 7, Thing is 6, Thing isnt as strong as She hulk or even Colossus. He's a cool character, a good fighter and a veteran, but a high class 100 member he aint.

Come on Armando you're really scraping for points here. Thing really isnt high class 100. He isnt even officially been shown to be class 100 yet. Franklin is a little child. His uncle is his hero. He thinks Thing can beat anyone, he's at that age. Just like when we were kids and we thought our dads were the greatest. Franklin is in a desperate , horrible situation he's been captured by an evil entity and imprisoned. He's helpless, all he has to cling on to is hope. Hope that his parents and especially his "unca ben" will come and rescue him like they always do. He asks Nate who he thinks is stronger and Nate does what any kind person would do in the same situation and he keeps that hope strong in Franklin, he helps him to stay strong in that awful situation by telling him a white lie.

I didnt put She hulk in the high class 100 category because according to hercules fans he was mortal when she did so although i did query this confusing hercules situation and got nothing credible back so i think its all rubbish anyway.

But yeah Thing is far from high class 100.

Stop trying to get Namor accepted as a high class 100. He's not. Marvels ratings system is messed up. Characters who are stated as being able to lift 50 tons are shown lifting 100's of tonnes. However you know that those class 50 characters arent in the class 100 category because according to Marvel theyre not on that level. Despite the misleading class names.

Namor has some good lifting feats, however officially he is a low class 100. Therefore he is not on the same level as people like Thanos and Hulk and so on who are classified as level 7 (above Namors 6 rating) with level 7 being high class 100.

Until Marvel comes up with a standart point its always going to be. He was mortal yes. However late showings of him as mortal (that she hulk ish, Jurgens Thor in the first 15 issues, Avengers 12, and JlA/Avengers,) makes him close to the levels he was as immortal.

She Hulk winning does have some merit. If Mortal Hercules strenght in that ish was so slow like the Hulk/Hercules one shot for example, why would she be surprised at all by winning against him.

Another point i thought and considered about this. She actually shows more impressed being stronger than Hercules than being more than twice as strong as the Thing. (never less than class 85 to say the worst, and she lifted his max weight with one hand).

So yeah she probably is at immortal Hercules level after all.

The issues that bug me are the writter saying than even with - that - she wasent stronger than Hulk (wich doesnt make sense. He wrote Herc pretty close to immortal levels and that makes him in Hulks range of strenght) She should also be stronger.

About the Herc issue. Its a mess. Everyone says hes mortal but some wrote him as weak and others close to what he once was.
