Do Christians Have Free Will?

"Do Christians have free will or they are fated to follow the bible ?"

Idea from Atlantis001.......................

Some Christians believe in blind faith. Blind faith = no free will.

What's wrong......You're a bright person....you should have your own thread....

This is where the rubber meets the pavement...

Most Christians think they have free will, but are really into the doctrine that their particular church teaches.

Bright glow !? Cool ! Maybe I should create a new religion, and a new bible too, and people will happily follow what I say without questioning it.

Do you know how many people will die in your name? Plus, I've got a head start on you. 😆

I want some people to die for me.....tooooooo......

I am the Blessed Holy Virgin, you know.....

Then your 3 children are born of the holy spirit and must die on the cross.

Oh ya, I forgot to laugh 😆

Yeah...you have to die!...But first you have to turn some water into wine..and raise a body or two.....Then we kill you...

And we'll write a book about it called Holy Atlantis Chronicles....and then we can edit it, stuff some pagan themes in it, and create millions of doctrines....and hang you on our walls....and light candles to you...

Mmm... thats difficult to do, but at least I have people willingly to kill me.
But I liked the books title "Holy Atlantis Chronicles".

I'd have to say no.

If you differ from your denomination's interpretations or beliefs of Christianity then you are not truly a member of that denomination........you are a person who's beliefs are similar to those of Christians.

they have a free will

but Christians try to go by the Bible
any Christian can go a differnet way anytime they want to
God will be very upset with that though

sounds like a limited free will to me

The choices of Christians are no different from our choices, ultimately, they are up to themselves.

In other words Christians are just as humans as anybody else except they follow different beliefs. The choices they make shape their own lifestyle. Just like everyone else.

Yes, choices.....But many don't look outside the box, just like everybody else.......

Then we're talking about particular individuals. Not just a whole mass of people with a faith, right?
