I know we don't really have a lot of activity like we used to but would anyone be down for a sort of nostalgic, what-are-your-characters-up-to, short RP for Hero High?
It wouldn't be a complete RP because there would be no over-arching plot or story to follow. Just whoever's interested posting what their respective character(s) have been up to since the end of Hero High and the extremely short lived and incomplete follow up, Aftermath.
You could write it however you see fit. It could be just a rehashing, a follow up, a 'where are they now' type of thing, or you could even complete their story.
New players could get in on it by creating a character and telling what they have been up to that coincides with what has been going in the previous RPs. However, you don't have to do this. You can just tell a story of their everyday life.

I was gonna write the middle and end for Aftermath, where all the characters would get some kind of ending. But I dunno if I can do it. 😬
IOW - In my head I already know what is going to happen to everyone, but that still wouldn't phase your idea... Maybe.
The best I can do atm is get the game off the ground, and even that is gonna be hell as tricky...
That's the beauty of it, Xan. It could potentially turn out to be side stories or something of the sort. They wouldn't have to be long. But they could be. It's totally up to you. Whatever you want to write. The only thing is that it has to be a little after the end of HH3 and the beginning of Aftermath.
You know what? I'm rescinding my Hero High short story idea in favor for an anthology series.
We could all write original short stories or novellas or non-canon shorts in the thread. No one contributes to someone else's work within the anthology and the contributions have to be complete stories. There can't be any "to be continued" shorts but a contribution could take up as many post as needed to be completed.
In regards to contributing a short that is based off of an RP that has already been played on this site - i.e. the Hero High series, Teen Titans, Ultimate Hero RPG, Real Life Mutants, etc... - anything you write in those titles will be considered non-canon for the sake of the continuity of the already posted RP. This gives you free reign to do your own bidding. You can use other characters as you see fit. (Just don't be a jerk or vindictive. Why? Because that would be stupid.)
