Muramasa High School: Haunt, Hurt, Hate

They found her last night, on the roof of the school. Her right thumb had been removed, her body covered in small wounds, bruises on her throat. Murdered, desicrated. One of the most well liked girls in schooland even the city, Yumi Hirako was dead. Snuffed out in the prime of her life, and somebody knows why. Somebody knows.[/it]
The school is rocked by this tragic event, and an investigation begins by the local police. Concurrently, a group of students have begun having the same recurring nightmare - a deep voice in the darkness, asking the same question, over and over. And then, a yellow eyed man in a red room....
In the aftermath, a new transfer student enters the picture - who may have had something to do with Queen Yumi's death. As the pieces in this chess game play on, both light and darkness gather their pawns as the secrets that hide in the hallways of Muramasa come to light, and death stalks those who seek to crack them open.
A city that knows darkness. A school that hides a secret.

This game will be a game that takes place inside of the hallways at the Muramasa School, a high school in a smaller Japanese city. We'd play those involved in some capacity - students, friends of the deceased, maybe staff. Basically a small group of people who are working independently, but ultimately being brought together by darkness. There will be a supernatural element, a haunting, and some strange powers may manifest in characters, but nothing in the sense of "throwing fireballs and shooting missiles." Those who visit the Red Room ultimately unlock special abilities in themselves, only...softer.
The game however would be a bit more controlled, in the sense that you will often get a Private Message from me directly, telling you something integral to the story that only YOUR character knows, or a message in character displayed as an email, a dream, a nightmare. Dont be surprised if you get a message one day that says
"You're character has a grudge against (Player B)"
or perhaps even
"You killed Yumi Hirako."
As well, there is going to be someone who killed this young woman. Was it one person? Someone she knew? We'll discover this in chapters, every few days I'll move time forward slightly just to keep things moving if the game happens to slow down. Almost episodically.
