Ok i caught a glimpse of Origins. Was Dog who is actually James Howlett, was indeed Sabretooth.

james howlett is wolverine...

dog was implied to be sabretooth PERHAPS.. but that's never been confirmed... though the fact that he has a scar on his face from wolverine years after he gets it kinda indicates that it isn't.

Maybe his healing factor kicked in. Maybe the reason why creed hates logan cos logan looks much like their father Thomas Logan. Well this is jus speculations.

he was also said on a few occassion to be a master of wrestling and other types of fighting based off it.

Keep in mind according to that WW2 flash back issue this isn't the first time he has survived an incineration.

Gotta love how his hair also grows back completely to the way it was before.
