Ok i'm confused.. why would it be 'stooping' for a woman to help you out? Can it not be just considered friendly?

unless she is telling you to get the eff out of her property, or because a man is invalid, or because a man has his hands occupied, i just cannot imagine a woman opening a door for a man just to be friendly.

I have opened doors and held doors open for men when their hands were full, just to be friendly... and if ANYONE guy or girl follows me out a door I hold it open for them. I consider it rude to just let it go and smack them in the face if they aren't paying attention.

I'm honestly at a loss when it comes to understanding this slapping/hitting/beating the opposite sex discussion. violence isn't acceptable, that's why we've forbidden it by law. so, unless your only way out of a given situation is to fight some violent person off you, what right have you, be of what ever sex you may, to hit back? in my opinion that would just be another show of a lacking ability to express or controll oneself.
