I haven't researched the Illuminati enough to discuss them for that you have to speak with Deano, but look at the bombings results.
They came at a time when the public where apprehensive towards the Governments new anti terror laws and what better way to get people to agree with what every you suggest,frighten them,if they think the laws will make them safer then they will sign up to them without even checking what they are agreeing to.

Thats not true deano Channel 4 aired a few programmes that where very close to openly blaming the American government for the "terror attacks" however you are right in saying that most media channels ignored any evidence that suggested government involvement.
