Super Smash Bros. x Kingdom Hearts
Genre: RPG
Company: Square-Enix

It could play just like Super Mario RPG. It could also include Geno and Mallow too.

NEMEBRO: THE FINAL RAGE

NemeBro has had enough with the meaningless lives that continue to piss him off, so he must go on a journey across the universe, a journey full of RAGE to destroy life as we know it, until all that's left is a RAGING NemeBro, who, with none left to RAGE at, will direct his RAGE at himself, ending the cycle of RAGE forever.

Sounds like the April fool's article about God of War 3

Marvel VS DC

Can either be a versus similar to Marvel VS Capcom, or an adventure game where you can pick a variety of DC/Marvel superheroes with different abilities and movesets.

How cool would that be?

Mix & match? Sure, why not. Amalgams, hell yeah.

Oblivion x Fallout 3

The Lone Wanderer comes nuking the heck out of Tamriel.

I've been playing GTA a lot lately and thought about how awesome it would be to have an expansion called GTA: Zombies

Just an open world zombie appocalypse starting the morning shit goes down and having a bunch of objectives like making it across the city to shelter, going on food runs etc.

Just imagine how sick that game would look with cars destroyed and buildings on fire. Wow I should be a video game designer.

there are ways to get gta style games like that
cant be discussed here tho
google is your friend 😬

ill add more later g2g

An MMORPG/FPS where everyone that plays is on the same side fighting against a massive worldwide alien invasion (that, of course, progressively escalates). Players could be infantry, pilots, engineers, etc. Each class would have different level ups (for example, engineers would be in charge of developing and deploying new weaponry, vehicles, and defenses, and could specialize in certain fields). Teamwork would be at a premium though.

so basically, global agenda with aliens? 😛

A first person shooter that is designed for the screen to exactly mirror the human eyes; it would incorporate the general "shape" of vision that humans realistically see through, it would incorporate varying degrees of focus throughout different parts of the eyes (the closer to the centre the clearer the vision), the environment would have the same effect on your vision as it would have directly on your eyes in real life (smoke would slightly blur your vision for example); fatigue would affect the clarity of your vision, and there would be occasional, entirely random "blink" effects to further add to the realism. Basically a first person shooter where the camera functions exactly as your eyes realistically would in the scenarios that the game depicts.

Hanna Barbera Super Heroes

Featuring numerous heroes (and maybe a few villains) created by Hanna Barbera and maybe one non-Hanna Barbera superhero (Samurai Jack).

Lego Wolverine it would the most violent Lego game so far.

A commonly held belief is that gameplay should always be the primary focus in video gaming, and that storytelling should only ever be the focus if it uses the video game medium's unique properties to tell a story, otherwise the developer might as well make a movie or TV show and that creating a story within a game is largely unnecessary.

An answer to this problem and common approach of video game storytelling is to grant the player a level of control over the the choices his character makes in a way that influences the storyline. This approach can have the focus remain on the storytelling while utilising the unique properties of video gaming to tell a story.

However, this approach itself has opened itself up to criticism, the main one being that the story loses its meaning and a sense of destiny to it, and that events do not necessarily take place because they are thematically meant to.

So far, a solution to this problem hasn't yet been identified. Which is where my idea comes in.

Genre: Make your own adventure game.

Prime concept being explored: Possible world theory.

Details: From a storytelling perspective, each choice that you as the player get to make for your character would correspond to a given "possible world" whereby a given "possible you" made that choice. The choices in the game would be largely infrequent, but would have significant effects on the storyline.

Another criticism often made to the non linear storytelling approach is that the time and effort of the writer has to be divided up among a number of different branching storylines and that in some cases the storytelling can come across as lazy or sloppy. A possible remedy would be to hire multiple writers to flesh out the different branching storylines, within given guidelines and edited in a way to fit in with the universal similarities across the different storyline paths (the character is always of the same personality so making sure the writing stays consistent in portraying the character would be important as an example).

However, as far as how things are "supposed" to happen, every single scenario within the game would see your hero failing. This won't necessarily mean that he doesn't stop the villain or gets killed however, just that things do not play out as they're "meant" to. The "destiny" of the story is never achieved.

Which is where the second component of the project would come in:

A companion story would be released; it could be in the form of a movie, TV show, anime, a special contained on the second disc of the game; anything depending on the style and the scope of the game.

This story would essentially detail the "prime" world, the way things are "supposed" to happen, and the true destiny of the story. And destiny in itself would be the prevalent theme explored in this prime story.

As such, a story could be told, that not only, in parts, utilises the unique function of the video game medium to incorporate Possible world theory in a way that's never been done before, but the "destiny" of the story would still be realised through the companion material in a way that provides closure and meaning to the story.
