Also, after the Russian's Sputnik came about in the 60's, America realized how behind it was as far as science was concerned and started including evolution in public schools. There were a couple states that passed state laws to force the teaching of creationism in place of evolution but those laws were later ruled unconstitutional in the Supreme Court. My public school taught evolution.
Were they presenting it as fact? Or an accepted (generally) Theory.

I grabbed a book from the library while I was at uni on Space and the beginning and all that, but didnt have time to read it because I found another one on Einstein.....damn interesting stuff....😄
