yup, Scorpion almost beat Cage to death one time.... and if you have a decent enough weapon you can cut him
I have like 5 announcements and switches to make, but have been busy. I promise I'll get to everything tonight...so if your waiting for me to announce your pick or something, just be patient. Sorry and I'll catch up with everything later today
Still Wed. for the next thread, and should be next Sunday for the first battles.

Meh. My guy can beat Hydroman. You guys realise that whoever matches up against Venom would need fire or sonics to stand a chance, and I don't think the Human Torch is allowed. 😱
actually anyone with bladed weapons that will be capable of getting in close could possibly fair just fine.. 😈

I don't remember.. it was some sort of one shot/tie in... I used to have the comic but my damned cousin obliterated the thing..
Woo-hoo...announcements.
1. A Kull Warrior has been selected...from the Stargate TV series

...the armor is tough but isn't invulnerable, and actually has some weak spot that it doesn't cover...and the regular assortment of uber-metals can pierce it, and most energy attacks will harm the person.
2. The Shroud has been replaced by Grail

...looks to be a Venom knock-off.
3. Leto Atreidas II: Here's the deal. I had forgotten, but earlier the person asked me about picking characters at a certain point in their evolution. After hearing the argument I agreed. Although those were the only Leto bios he could find, the Leto he has chosen is not 3,500 years old and nearly transformed into a sandworm. It is when he first gained his powers and wasn't nearly as evolved. I'm told he jumped 15-20 meters in the air to escape a canyon (probably not much more than 1-2 Ton strength) and has a tough hide that isn't invulnerable but can protect some against bullets (a bullet would pierce him but not quite as much as a regular person). The prescience, or pre-cog, isn't seeing the future, but merely presents the possibilities of the future before him. It works similarly to MN'ers implant that allows him to analyze a situation every possible way. He won't be seeing the future or dodging blows because of future-vision...but it still might help some. I hope that clears that up.
4. Shang-Chi has been replaced with Ryu (Street Fighter)

Quick fix to the Kull armor. It dulls most energy attacks, but can still be pierced. Only high-level energy attacks, or a good concussive force will harm it otherwise, although it doesn't cover the entire body. It's basically a slightly more padded (and more insulated against cuncussive blasts) version of Black Panther's armor...at least that's the impression I get.
