Bottom line is this. I was a friend of Slipknot, I enjoyed some of his posts, many of which made me laugh, and honestly I'm sad to see him go.

However, you have to keep in mind that he had been warned multiple, and I mean MULTIPLE times to cut out the overly stupid and potentially offensive threads, he was given a number of chances and he failed to listen, as such, he more or less got what he had coming, and he brought it upon himself.

It's crude, offensive, disgusting, and he was banned for those threads originally. Then, he came back and started up again with crude and pointless threads, ignored multiple warnings and abused second chances, and now he screwed himself.

How is this punishment so hard for you people to understand? Take into account the position of the moderators, and the clientele of the board, which depend on US to maintain a friendly and safe posting environment, and stop harping on how things are "unfair", when we were MORE than fair.

It's irrelevent whether anyone reported him or not, their are plenty of threads that get closed all the time that are never reported, doesn't mean they're still not against the rules, such was the case with Slipknots latest round of threads.
