Tekka shifted Shxzalor further over his shoulder, making it easier to carry him, and holding his weapon in his other hand, he looked around. "Where is everyone?" He asked, for he had not yet had the codes for communicate on the human's channels. "Where are we to go?"
Ahead of them Rae darted into the trees, moving around them smoothy and swiftly, the Covenant hadn't placed anyone here at all. It was there luck, no ambushes could be set up. All the Covenant were coming from behind them now. "This is 116, the forest is clear, I will report more once I reach the outpost." She continued on.
Nuron came around along the line of trees between the field and outpost with the grunts, he saw Rae for the first time since she was put in the cryo tube so long ago, he turned on his comm as he was still only halfway across the field, "I see your as agile as ever. What is taking the other so long?"

((Ah yes, Huon is in the forest between Nuron and Rae but a little farther in, his barracade is made of forest things, so the Covenant wont see it until that happens. Huon, your now in command of Sierra Squad, so those nine remaining normal marines are with you at the barricade so you can ambush the covvies as they pass.))

The marines had finished up most of thier barricades.They had little protection but there was suffecient camo so if a covenant squad came here sierra squad would get a lot of shots in.2 marines were in barricades with a way out so if there was any covenant and they came by and were killed then they would take the bodies and put them into a large area of underbrush nearby.This would let ambushes be more stealthy and also they would take the weapons and put them in a pile nearby.Huon remembered a while ago they had little ammo.Now they had too many plasma weapons.Thgere were over 30 plasma pistols and over 10 plasma rifles.But there were more than that.But each marine in the squad was issued 1 plasma rifle and 3 pistols.Anyways the marines lied behind thier barricades and held up thier plasma rifles and smg's and battle rifles.One marine saw a distortion over by the water and thought it might be one of the covenant elites.A marine shot into the distortion and it hit the water.Nothing but a illusion but huon knew that covenant would come soon...
((So then ur at the barricade if ur a marine.ok sounds good.Remember the barricade offers virtually no protection but it is good camo aginst covies.Your equipment is ur pack,human weapons,3 plasma pistols and a plasma rifle.Cause at another battle that we won we found a lot of covenant weapons so we handed out weapons.))
Davaran yells to Tekka.. "In here!!! hurry!!!" After they both enter a building, a group of three ghosts go by.. keroth looks around.. "I might have the solution to this problem.. " keroth fully equips his black armor, and grabs tekkas plasma rifle.. "I will.. secure us a ride." davaran looks at him.. "you're feeling better now?" keroth nods.. "yes."
A few minutes later.. davaran lifts up just enough to see outside, grunts run by carrying mounted plasma cannons and fuelrod guns.. two wraiths slowly move by followed by atleast four hunters.. He notices a foot right next to the window, he looks up to see a blue elite who had just dropped his plasma rifle.. fear overwhelms davaran when a hand flashes outward and grabs him pulling him back.. "thanks.. tekka.. I guess I know you aren't hostile.." Keroth slowly walks in.. "In five minutes... be out on the street behind here... be prepared.. it might be rough." The three watch as keroth walks up to three jackels and a red elite.. behind him, an empty spectre... keroth does some pointing, and two jackels move off in different directions... the one jackel turns around and starts looking upwards.. seconds later keroths hand punches into its head.. the red elite looks at him.. confused but falls from a blow to the stomach before he could do anything.. keroth jumps in the spectre and heads around the building, davaran and shxzalor sit in the side slots, davaran is reached over trying to tend to shxzalors wounds.. tekka is forced to man the only weapon.. our only one pointed outwards.. and a whole bunch to be pointed towards us.. Certainty of death.. little chance of success.... what are we waiting for.
The squad had been stting there for a couple of minutes when they heard something.A elite and 3 jackals were walking.The jackals formed a phalanx and huon knew they shoudl wait.There was a elite in blue armor looking round.Huon look ed that phalanx formation and primed a grenade.He threw it in a arc formation and it landed by a tree removing most of the branches and killed 2 of the jackals The jackal got between 2 large rocks and the elite ran ontop of one and starte to fire his carbine into the bushes hoping to hear a scream.A few shots rang out and dropped the elite.The jackal was killed by a plasma pistol.The 2 marines went out and grabbed the weapons and put all the corpses into bushes.But the jackals shields were taken and put up oin branches.Now if they were in a fire fight the marines would turn on the sheilds.A small part was defended but would be good.Also 2 other small shields weere found on the bodies.Probably extras if the bands slipped off.They were put in 5 different areas to allow a good protection.This would be helpfun eventually.Also after all the marines had a least 1 in thier areas they'd start to put them up in the bushes facing upward to make a upward shield.Incase the covenant employed grenades.Also in the battle several grenades were found.the marines wished they had mines to use to fortify several locations.There was a small rock formation which might be a hardfought position.Along with several smaller entrances.
Rain ran to forward point as ten had requested. The group continued to move towards their destination. The group exited the outpost in the standard cover formation moving quickly, checking for any more cleverly concealed traps, but rain was sure his trained eyes would spy these easily, towards the destination which was so closenow that the clearing could be seen ahead. Ahead Rain could see sharp glints off the cleverly concealed weapons, these would be virtually invisible to the untrained eye. Rain moved towards the forested area, keeping low as ten was. The ODST's followed.
Ten stopped, "Rain, your tense." He walked over to the ODST and nodded off to the side, "You see what I see?" He asked, spying three cloaked Elites. He handed Rain two frag grenades, "I'll distract them, you throw." With that he sneaked around them, stepping impressively lighty for his weight, and then made some, but not alot, of noise. The three Elites started to spy at his general lcoation. "Any time Rain."
Rain moved quickly in to an optimal position for throwing, after accepting the frag grenades. He waited for ten's signal then threw the grenades into the middle of the elites. For 2 of them died virtually instantly as the grenade landed in amongst them. The third burned by the heat of the explosion died while trying to find the new target, as Rain and ten opened fire instantly apon recognisation of the targets remaining life.
Well im a pilot leading a marine squad of 10 men.So far theres no firing here.And the squad motion tracker which goes for a long while into the woods says its pretty free.
((Ima save the next fight until the ODST's pass by here.Get them involved in our firefight and then they will run to our position giving us away.Ill make it be a spectre and 2 covenant battle squads (2 elites,6 grunts,3 jackals) so then we can have a nice big fight before running away))
