Atkins wondered how he got caught up in this mess he would probably be a fugitive on the run if he didnt join the corps last time he was a civilian he was being chased by a group of police cars he had just robbed a conveince store and hijacked the car he coincidentally ran out of gas by a mall where they were recruiting marines it was his only choice if he wanted to stay free so he joined now he had been there for a couple of years but he never had been in such intense battle before it was survival of the fittest lucky for him he was pretty damn fit

Ten qued his com, "116, is it clear?" He asked. He recieved an affirmative for an answer. "OK, let's go." He said. "I'll take point, and act as a Vanguard." He said, walking forward, staying about one hundred feet ahead of the others. It was no good if they got ambushed on the way there.

Atkins got off the rock and followed the others

Huon was telling his marines to take cover.The battle group progressed at a steady rate of maybe 5mi/km per hour.They moved slowly so they could get a good view of the area and watch for enemies.The marines would somnetimes run ahead and get behind cover and rest for a moment.They walked for a half a mile and some marines started to reest.Huon went up to ten and said "Sir,My men and these ODST's need rest and some men need to adjust bandages.The fight took a lot out of them."

The men were starting to rest and some took drinks from a stream flowing right next to them.It must have been a offshot tributary of a river that flowed a mile or two away.The river went into a large lake which huon guessed the covenant were using as when he checked the orbital maps of the area there was a small outpost with a guard tower a squad of marines and a few tents.It had a good amount of med's as well.Anyways the marines were startting to sit and rest.

Atkins sat with the rest of the marines his throat was dry and he was dehydrated he pulled out a cantine filled with water he poured some down his throat it wasnt cold but he didnt care it was still water. Atkins passed his drink down sharing it with some of his men. He was slowly running out. Atkins men began placing bets over when they thought the covenant would strike again. "Idiots their money wont matter if the covenant do strike again this soon at least" He thought to himself. All of the men were tired and exhausted the covenant would have an easy time wiping half of the platoon out. Atkins walked up beside Huon "You think the covenant will strike soon?" He asked Huon with an angry look on his face.

Judicator and his troops quietly moved from cover to cover, following the humans. Then he noticed they had stopped moving. "Soon brothers, we will have revenge for the lives they have taken." A Jackal nodded. He grabbed a Jackals Beam Rifle, and scoped out the area. "There seems to be a fort a little ways from here. They're regrouping most likely." He gave the beam rifle back the Jackal. Looking over his shoulder, he nodded, "Two of you follow me, the rest stay here." A jackal and a Grunt approached him. Once again Judicator nodded and they followed him around the camp (not in it). They looked at the tired marines, some looking as if they had no hope... but Judicator had no sorrow in his heart for them. "You," He said pointing to the Grunt, "Fire a shot off, don't hit anyone, just a warning shot." "Okay" The grunt responded. He fired a shot off into the air from his needler. The group fell back to the main party. And they hid themselvs in trees, behind rocks, and even covered themselvs in mud. "Prepare for an ambush." Judicator whispered to a nearby Grunt.

The marines didnt hear the warning shot as needelers dont really make muich of a sound.But one marine saw it but he just told some of his buddies who didnt believe him."Well if the covenant do attack we will be ready.My men have already got into defendable positions in a circle.Also a few of the stronger marines have put logs out.But im sure they wont attack when we are only maybe 2-5 miles to that base.It'd be real risky for them as im sure there are human survivors at that base." Huon thought he saw something move and a few other small movements.He told his men all to aim near there and hide from the site of that area.With the men in a tired state they should attack when they are attacked.

(Hey and chakra u do not know about the fort as liquid said it is secret and stuff.So the base the marines are going to is a secret reasearch thing.Not sure what purpose it will serve other than a inevitable fighting area.)

Zac looks around at the battle scene in front of him. Needlers bouncing off walls, people dying, the flood.... THE FLOOD? "Crap!" Zac runs to the nearest shield and starts firing his gun. "Help! I need help!" yells Zac. Zac takes out eleven of the thirty something flood. But he is no match for the flood cornering him in. "Help!"

First, your supposed to PM me the profile, second, you didn't even ask if you were accepted, third, there are no walls, were outside, second, there is no flood, we are not even on a halo.

Once again.. (sorry for the.. no typing, I wasn't afk.. It was just that there is no where and reason to make more actions..with all the prepared defences.. and the fact that the battle is going on from the other side of the forest.. I'll explain in a picture)

(Sorry I haven't posted in a while.. It's not that I've been AFK it's that.. There wasn't really a reason to post.. seeing as I am on the other side of the fight.. I'll show through a picture what I've gathered from peoples posts and whatnot.

We dont control a area.We are resting up and there isnt a mountain pass or a mountain around.But there are some streams around the area.

(Yes, there is a mountain pass.. me and liquid went through it since we were the last ones out of the city.. the forest was too dangerous because of oncoming convenat troops.. There was a post a while back about that AND, there is a human controlled area, if there wasn't we'd all be dead.. Until they overrun our position, it's ours.)
