Judicator held his hand up for silence, he could hear shooting a little ways ahead of him. "Come follow me." And they moved slowly towards the human-held barricade, though, this was unknown to them. They reached the side of the building and one of the Jackals ran out of cover towards the sound of the shooting, he dropped dead. Judicator cursed under his breath, "We need to destroy that position ahead brothers, the only thing that we need is a plan." Looking at the other Elite he grinned, "Brother, I have a plan, lend me two Jackals." Judicator signled two Jackals to follow the Elite. The Elite and both Jackals moved slowly up the street... they were almost to the spot that the Jackal had been shot down in. "Careful brother." Judicator said to himself. The Elite grabbed a plasma grenade and tossed it into, well hopefully, into the barricade. Then they ran back to the building position. "Nice work brother, maybe this will flush them out." Judicator signled his Covenant Jackals to be ready with their beam rifles, the one with the plasma pistol was dead. Judicator and the other Elite prepared themselvs and waited if their trap worked.
Huon opened fire upon a elite.He chose the plasma pistol and overchagred the elites shield and a marine shot it several times and dropped it.Then huon started to shoot into the brush were covenant were hiding.Some of the more flamable forest things had caught fire already.Huons baricade had caught fire on one part of it but a marine put it out with a covenant piece of metal.He continued to fire and shot down a grunt.Huon wondered why the coivenant even bothered to use grunts.Thier weapons didnt do much,but they could just pilot a shade.And even those had become less used.They were probably just other targets to cover for the elites.
Davaran smirks a bit before leaning over to keroth.. He looks up the elite at this time, as more of a friend than an ally.. and keroth looks down the same, neither admitting it to anyone but the knowledge is there..
Keroth: Here, take this.. you'll need it.. *Says as he hands a Plasma rifle and one plasma grenade*
Davaran: This really isn't... my style, you know that...
Keroth:well.. we really don't have a choice.. I will admit however, i'd rather be on one of your contraptions..
Davaran: Yeah.. that makes two of us. *He sighs heavily then raises his rifle and checks his sights.. * You know.. keroth, this rifle is a bit bent..
Keroth: I.... see... *sighs heavily himself*
After the two laugh a bit they see the other marines and odsts' prepare for the coming fight...
Keroth: These guys wont survive a direct fight.. especially with all the Wraith tanks I seen..
Davaran: I'll be right back... *he gets up and runs to shxzalors position.* Hey, we need an edge here.. these guys are all going to die if we stay here..
Shxzaloe smiled, or rather an elites version, of a smile, and held up two things. One was the detonator for the charges, "These things will level a large portion of their army." He said, and in his other hand was a device with a small screen and several buttons, "It comes with my rank. I'm going to scramble the Tanks and give them im proper instructions, they'll shoot their own men if I do this right. And only two Wraiths are coming, the others are boxed in the city due to the charges and other crashes, and drop pods."
Ten walked up beside them, and held out his Battle Rifle to Davaran, "Wanna switch?" He asked.
Atkins was knocked back by a plasma grenade that had fallen close to him he coughed and got back to his feet one of the men was injured he tended to him best he could but he was to late the marine died in his arms. "DAMN YOU!" He yelled at the covenant he snatched up his battle rifle and began to fire at the scumb who killed the marine it's helmet was damaged he aimed and shot him right between the eyes. He then began to fire at the rest with rage in his eyes hidden behind his black helmet
Davaran: Uh... Heh.. *Reaches out and grabs the rifle with one hand, giving up his plasma with the other* Thanks...
-After a brief talk davaran quickly moves back to his position...-
Keroth:Where did you get that...
Davaran: what.. this rifle?
Keroth: Yes.... *He says while eyeing it down...*
Davaran: Man, I just got this.. now you're gonna take it from me?
Keroth: I'm bigger than you.. so. you also had said you had a liking for Covenant weaponry..
Davaran: Wait, you have a carbine dont you..
Keroth smiles, :If you can find some ammunition for it, you'll find it to be quite an exciting weapon.
-After davaran moves around the area he finds one of Huons weapon stashes, he grabs a plasma pistol and two carbine magazines.-
Davaran: Doesn't really look all that impressive.. *fires a shot* wow? what kindof shot is this?!
Keroth: A radioactive encased charge...
Davaran: *big smile is seen* I'll have to take a look at this after this fight.
Judicator ducked as battle rifle bullets rained down around him. One of the Jackals were hit in the arm... but all in all it was nothing serious. Judicator looked over at the dead Elite. He had grown to like him a little bit... but this was a war, you were bound to lose friends. Judicator fired a few shots into the barricade, scaring a few marines. "You," He said pointing to one of the Jackals, "I want you to watch that barricade, if you can get a clear shot... then fire." The Jackal nodded and continued his aim. "The rest of you follow." Judicator snuck up to the other side of the Barricade. "Right, were going to need to get them to run out of the barricade so then the Jackal can take down any targets." Judicator ran a hand up his carbine until he had it tightly in his hand. He quietly ran up as close as he dared to, and threw another plasma grenade. He ran backwards... into cover. The other Jackals were all at the ready. Judicator counted, "1, 2, 3...." The grenade exploded.
By now the masrines had activated the shields around the bartricade.There wasnt much cover as a marine would be covered up to his head if he crouched.But it was suffecient.3 marines were shooting near a covenant elite that had deployed a covenant smg and 2 jackals with tower shields were covering the rears.One marine chucked a grenade and killed them all and let out a cry of victory.Then he continued to fire upon some grunts.Huon was shooting into thje brush where he saw plasma weapons.He wondered when they would be running away and getting to the base.
A group of grunts came running towards them they were completely idiotic creatures one creature leads them they think they will win if 30 come at you one is shot they scatter to the four winds this group was led by a single jackal the came over the rocks marines and ODSTs began knocking them around with their guns Atkins went for the big target he lunged at the jackal tackling him to the groundthe jackal's shield deactivated when it hit the ground Atkins pulled out his pistol stuck it in the jackals mout and fired the grunts saw what happened and began to run off again though few made it far
Huon saw atkins brutally kill the jacakl and he quickly pulled out his plasma rifle and started to fire hitting 2 grunts down and the other propped himself up against a tree.Then he was ripped to threads by the machine gunner in the tree.
A phalanx of jackals came in with a grunt holding a fuel cell gun.The phlanxc was killed by the machine gunners grenade.That was the bad part about using the plasma shields.The humans knew that if they took the sheilds it would be easier.But less easier if a grenade was thrown behind them.
Judicator cursed under his breath as his plasma grenade came flying out of the barricade and exploded in midair. He fired at few shots into the barricade again. One of the Jackals hit and killed one unlucky marine who ran out of cover. He saw that some of the humans were using Covenant Sheilds as cover. "Brothers, the heretics must be with these humans." They nodded. Suddenly Judicator saw some Covenant soldiers get torn down by the Demons and humans. Cursing once more, he grabbed his carbine tightly. "We must make these scum pay with their lives brothers." The remaining Covenant Troops of his little squad nodded. He led them quietly towards one of the sides of the barricade, hoping that he could sneak up on them.
Huon saw a elite in ornate armor.He shot into the group around him.He was able to quickly shoot down a couple of unlucky grunts that were shooting at his position.Then he started to shoot at the elite.He managed to knock a few hits in and hit the shield.But as usual the shield regenerated and huon cursed as he continued to fire.By now the other marines (A total of after some math around 16) had started to shoot into the other covenant forces.The enemy death toll rose as they were shooting.There were 8 elites dead,14 jackals,21 grunts and a few enemy MG's damaged or destroyed.It was a good score compared to the 4 dead marines.Huon continued to fire into the elite.The machine gunner was shooting at 2 elites nearby.He hit one in the head and it fell into a purple spatter of blood.The armar was electrcuting the corpse a little bit.The otherr elite was firing into the ODST's position.A jacakl tried to sneak into the brush and place a grenade but a marine was watchful and killed him with his pistol and the marine took the shield and set it up near the back and added more brush.Then he put the plasma pistol there and activated the shield.every 2 minutes he decided to run back and shoot a few shots to make it look like they had a back guard.
