((TheEvilGod your posts don't really leave any options for co-operation from other players, what you post is usually a rude comment or taking down the enemies yourself. Your not leaving many obviously openings for others to play with you.))

The lights of the WarHawk lit up, and the vessel wobbled only once, then hovered half a foot above the ground. Nuron nodded in satisfaction, then turned and walked out the back, and hopped out of the vehicle. Turning to look at the five assault rifles, and five battle rifles held inside racks on the walls in between the seats, he frowned. He'd rather use his Sniper Rifle. Placing that on one of the seats, more like tossing it, he turned, and punched in the correct codes. Light filled the room as the roof opened up, rather thin, the different layers simply rectraced inside one another, as they got thicker toward the outside, and then turned to rest parallel to the walls outside. Nuron walked to the door, which opened for him, the security switched off. He walked out and looked at Spartan 116, and the others who seemed to have tagged along, and arched an eyebrow. "You people are paranoid." he said, "I'm here to serve my race over my affiliation." He said, again another odd tone in his voice. "Sometimes secrets are better left in the open. As for the explosion, the diameter was at least two miles, there wont be many Covenant left, maybe a few lucky aircraft. That's what the turrets on my WarHawk are for. If you want to come along for the ride then go ahead, but I only need a co-pilot and a gunner, a good gunner, the display is a visual one."

In one of the Pelicans a young marine sits down beside Davaran and looks at him, "Scared?" He asked, obviously this man had never seen combat before.

The Corporal looked the PsyCore over cooly. "I was asked to be here. Why?" Without moving her head, and moving her eyes only slightly, she gave the "WarHawk" behind Nuron a quick looking-over, her arms slightly crossed in front of her, hands clasped, knees slightly bent. She wasn't giving Nuron one inch of slack.

I'll try to make my posts a little more agreeable to your kind of RP'er

I sighed, "All there is left is the wait till we get there."

Huon got off the pelican and went near some crates and collapsed and started to slowly cry.He had many plasma wounds and was quite fatigued. He started to slowly fall asleep agains the crates containing ammo.He drifted off into a sleep of dreams of his home and family. He was fast asleep in 2 minutes...

((If your not on the dropship you can post getting on saying that you were forgotten or just pretrend to be on the droship.))

All possible repairs had been made to he Pelicans. Their fuel had been replaced, and ammo replenished. A long with their missile launchers. Each pelican was loaded with a large container containing weapons and ammo. (Those large dark green ones in halo 2.)

One of the pilots turned around in his seat to look at his passengers. His eyes slowly went over everyone inside, a lot of them looked like hell. He nodded to his Co, who flipped some switches, hit some buttons, and the Pelicans lights all blinked on and the birds left the ground by a few feet.

The Pilot grabbed hold of the controls. "OK, were good, seal us off. Take in air." He said. The back of the Pelican slowly closed, and there was a short hiss as everything went airtight. He hit more controls, "Ok, were ready for space."

The Co-pilot, a rather good looking woman, turned back and shouted to their passengers. "OK! WERE GOOD TO GO! STRAP IN!"

The pilot watched as this section of the hangar was sealed off, it would be a waste of air if the whole hangar was emptied. Soon all the air had been pumped out and waited in a safe place. They were in a vacum now. "OK, Get ready Echo Squadron, we may need your cover on this one." He said. After getting confirmation, the three Pelicans shot out of the hangar, and angled down towards the battered Covenant hulk that awaited them.

After half a minute of flying, the Pelians now surrounded by Longsword fighters, the Co shrugged. "Were not getting any-" She stopped. "Covenant fighters in coming!" She said, an edge at her voice. "Scramble Echo boys. I have a kiss for the one who gets the most kills."

"Roger that." The Squadron leader said, difting close to the Pelican he gave the thumbs up. "But we already have all the motaviation we need." He shot on ahead.

The pilot hit some switches, "All Pelicans, get those missiles ready. Dont deveate from course, but if you can blast one of those Covenant bad boys it'd be apprecated."

The Co-pilot spoke into her com as the cockpit was sealed off. "You soldiers better hold on. This may get a little rough." She said, and then a second later added her motivational comment.

The Pelicans on either side rolled, and the middle one dove as Serahps and longswords shot by. One of the pelicans fired a missile, and a Seraph was downed.

I held on. "I can't wait till we land," I said to myself

Davaran becomes slightly annoyed at this point.. "Damnit! this coulda been my first actual space combat!! " he looks around, then sighs.. "Keroth, I'm gonna beat the crap outta you for this one.."

Davaran looks around the pelican bay once more, completely surrounded by strangers.. a Large bump and a jolt to the side is felt, two rifles fly onto the ground and slide across the floor. A marine wobbles in his seet, head strieght back. As his eyes slowly roll into the back of his head he thrusts forward, vomitting all over his lap. Davaran cringes, as he watched two females vomit at the sight. "Well.. this already has the makings of a wonderful fun filled adventure.." he says under his breath.. a rather stern yet laidback look is conveyed. He checks his shotgun ammo.. about four times again..

Brute glared at the red-and-brown-clad Elite in the Pelican with his squad. He hadn't even acknowledged Mike's outburst, or the Sergeant's intervention. It was as though he thought himself so far above humans that they were blessed to breathe the air he had passed through. The "friendly" Elites seemed rather aloof, though the least removed was the one which seemed familiar with the pilot Davaran.

Where was he, anyway? Mike looked around the Pelican, and found that he couldn't see every single face onboard. Davaran seemed to know his stuff, and the large Marine hoped he'd be around when they dropped into the enemy ship.

Mike's thoughts returned to the Elites. He didn't even know if the arrogant one was a "he", a "she", an "it", or something else, though in Brute's opinion, he acted like a man, with bravado, strength, and assertiveness. Even at over eight feet tall, though, the alien didn't look that tough. They won because they had shields, cloaking devices, and plenty of cannon fodder. Mike just knew he could take the larger being on, one-on-one, and win. He could wrestle him to the ground and pin him, show him what Humans were made of, and teach him some respect.

(ok im back yay)
Atkins looked over at Rae "Im sorry i havent piloted one of the warhawks before so i won't be able to assist in that department," He said. He was surprised he was asked by a spartan to join in this mission he held a proud look on his face. Atkins didn't say anything after what Yi had said but he knew this mission would be too much for him, but heck all of the missions he had been on for as long as he could remember were over his head yet he made it through everyone of them he knew this one would be different though. There were only four of them maybe five if Ten was still alive which he seriously doubted and who knows where Ten would be and how many covenant forces would be down there. "So how long will it be till we can get back on the ground and look for the spartam?" Atkins asked in an eager voice

(Zeshi)
I pulled a gun off the rack and begant o examine it. "Hmmmm," I said with interest, running my finger along the barrel, "human Battle Rifle, about a month and a half old. It's perfect. A always loved these things, and they're better when they've gotten some wear." I was talking mostly to myself, just out of bored. But I was also quite interested. "By most of the Covenant, Human weaponry is considered weak and underdeveloped, but," I chuckled, "I myself find human weaponry punches the most power. Covenant weaponry is mostly good for taking out shields, but what good does that do you against bare flesh or armor. Not much." I noticed that one of the humans was sufficiently larger than most of the others. I chuckled inwardly, he was like the brute of the humans. "You're a rather large one aren't you," I chuckled again, "mind telling me your name?"

"I'm Private Mike Hawkins," the large Marine replied to the Elite's query. "Brute." he added, curtly. He seemed to think about something for a minute, and his attitude changed somewhat. "You like that Battle Rifle? I'm not very good with those. You have to keep pulling the trigger every time you want it to shoot. I'm just . . . well, my aim isn't too good." Mike's face turned slightly red. "I like that girly gun--the one that shoots the pink bullets and makes things blow up. What's it called again? Oh, the Needler."

(Zeshi)
"The needler is hardly girlie," I said, "it is probably the only covenant weapon I like. Homing and explosive. Not too good against a jackals shields though. I always have Bloodshock on me, and my favorite weapons to use are probably the Battle Rifle, either races sniper rifle, shotgun, and a human rocket launcher." I smirked a little, "Brute, you are the first human I can say I actually respect"

You understand your Elite wouldn't have used these weapons? lol

*sigh* in halo, the elites use human weapons all the time

plus, he's not some AI that uses what he's told to, he's my charrie

Yes they do use human weapons but your Elite would never have had the chance to get his hands on one if he just woke up and escaped from Covenant hands.

(Well, we did go through a big battle where Zeshi would have had plenty of time to experiment, and he could have been trained, virtually, with them, since he is supposed to be a sort of SPARTAN Elite (and 117, at least, is quite familiar with Covenant weapons, so you'd think Zeshi cross-trained, though he might not have much field experience with them)

Brute smiled at the compliment. "Uh, thanks . . . " the big man paused, not knowing how to address the Elite. "Hey, wait a minute. Does that mean you don't respect the other humans? What's wrong with them?"

Covenant think it unholy to use human weapons. They would not train their own with temh.

(*sigh* I told you, my covenant doesn't care about what the covies consider nuholy. He didn't just wake up when I started RP, he crashed in a phantom, remember. Plus, he was put into the program after he had already had battle experience. What, do you think they took him straight from the womb, and put him into the program?)
(Zeshi)
"For the most part, no," I said to Brute

((I know Zeshi would have no problem, but the ones who trained him would. I dont think Zeshi would have had the time to use all these weapons enough to get a thourough understanding. Muaha!))

"The fighters are off our backs. Thank's fly boys." The pilot said. He then turned to his co, "Were coming in on their hangar, the hangar bay energy walls are back up! Fire! Pelicans, fire!"

All three machines guns opened fire, and each Pelican launched two salvos of missiles. The bullets did little damage, but he newly erected hangar walls were at low power. It took only three missiles to bring it down. After that nine more missiles and hundred if not thousands of bullets riddled the hangar, equipment and troops alike were shredded.

The three pelicans formed a curved wing and dove in on their target. Diving in through the smoke and debris, they docked. Somehow, even with the shields down, the Covenant kept the air inside the ship. The ramps all lowered, and the Lieutenant signaled for the men to drop. "MOVE IT MARINES! I WANT THIS HANGAR CLEAR!"
