((We'll Pretend the other Garrison never existed, and this Garrison is the real one.))
Nuron walked to the side of the Pelican and hammered his fist into a large red button, his eyes hadn't stung from watching what was just a big white light, only because of the reflective shades he was wearing. He watched as the ramp closed, and air was pulled into the Pelican, and then everything was air tight. He turned around and looked at all the faces, and sighed. There was one face he may never get to see again. He eyed Rae, and took a seat beside her, he paused for a second before talking. "Ten's a very hard man to kill Rae. He survived his own ship blowing up over Reach. If anyone could have survived that, it would be him." He then pulled out one of the datapads under his uniform, it was a topographic map of the area. "We'll see soon enough." He said, and tapped some buttons, it beeped, but the map remained empty. No signal. His expression never changed, no one could read what he saw, which was that Ten's signal was gone. He set the datapad on his seat when he rose, screen facing down. "You can look if you want." He said, then started walking to the cockpit.
The Elites, and the single surviving Grunt Kokoz all remained silent, staring at the floor. Shxzalor slowly looked up and stared at the datapad, but never got up from his seat, yet his eyes never left the device.
Walking into the cockpit, Nuron tapped the co-pilot on the shoulder. She turned around and looked up at him, "I'll take over from here." He said, "The others in the back want to know where were going."
The co-pilot nodded slowly, and then got up and moved to the back. She stopped as soon as she entered, all these people, and aliens she realized, look like they had been through hell and back. Some a lot more than others. She didn't speak for a few minutes, though she knew not all of them had made it. "The Razor's Kiss detected your own ships signal. We were coming back from deep space and entered the system. Were heading back to the Kiss to load up on supplies and weapons. The Covenant ship as your AI, and none of the ship have weapons, and only the Kiss has engines. We need to move quickly if we are to recover your AI. Once we dock with the Kiss you have two options. Any volunteers among the ones who had been topside are welcome to come after loading up at the armory, or you can choose to stay on the Kiss. It's your choice. For those of you who are going to help board the Covenant vessel, you also have two choices should you volunteer. The first group will leave simply after getting to the armoury. The second group will leave after medical treats your wounds. Any questions?"
Nuron sat down at the co-pilot's seat, and pulled out a second datapad of similar design, obviously it had the ability to perform similar, and overlapping functions. He plugged it in using a versatile cable, to the Pelican's sensors, which would boost the effect. He thought he caught a blip out of the corner of his eye, but when he looked it was gone. But if Ten was alive he'd take that chance. He hailed the Razor's Kiss. "Nuron to Razor's Kiss."
Jack walked over to his officer, "This is Captain Jack Ford."
"Am I correct in believing that you have a WarHawk on board?" Nuron asked.
Jack paused, that info shouldn't be well known enough for some random officer to know. "You are correct." He said slowly. "But no one can figure out how to pilot it."
Nuron shook his head, "I can pilot the craft. Just give me the best co-pilot you have and let me go back down to the surface. I have a possible rescue."
Jack arched an eyebrow, "Correct me if im wrong but nothing's left down there. Our sensors detected that explosion, and we could see it from up here. Who could possibly be left?"
Nuron smiled slighlty, "A Spartan. And if he's dead I want his armor."
Jack frowned, "Authorized." And he cut the transmission, this day was getting wierder by the minute.
