Heck, someone could put Terry's armor on a Class 15 guy infused with 3-D Man's Triple Power and get someone who could run 375mph and lift 450 tons. I don't think this would be much of a "Street" level tourney at that point.

yeah... i thought the idea was that the combined guy wasn't to be above around class 20 and spidey speed

Jeez, was I the only one not in the dark about it? I mean, that was the point in the last amalgam tournament. You took a bunch of Herald levellers (or below) and some people ended up with some Thanos and higher level beings.

Did anybody else think it worked that way? I think we've got a whole lot of amalgams here who were tuned to hit those limits when combined. I know I might have chosen differently. Changing just one character in my trio could make the caps individually but hit class 100+ strength for the amalgam. Did other people do things like that? Is that what you had in mind? [/B]

I was thinking the same thing... Spiderman was the max strength of all three combined.

Well... this tournament just got a helluva lot more interesting... and lopsided for some people.

Well, what class is everyone, strength wise?

My dude hits 10-15 tons after amalgamation.
I suddenly feel like I brought a knife to a gun fight.

Well, with Unicorn's class 15 and Shatterstar's enhanced strength, plus Thunderbolt's mine is around a class 16. Maybe 17. Damn... If I knew it was a limit for each individual character, I probably would have chosen differently.

That's alright. I'll make do with what I already have.

Like I said, my guys in the mid-high Class 30's I believe (gotta go do the math again after seeing a couple new things from Midnighter).

I feel the same way. Dizzle is in the same boat as well.

Then again, Punisher did bring a knife to a gun fight in his movie and he killed the Hitman with it. So if your debating skills are up to par, you shouldn't worry about it.

That isn't too bad. As long as you didn't purely go for weapons instead of strength.

😆
Oh man, here I was thinking I was gonna have one of the physically weakest amalgams in the tourney...

We have the best pics of our amalgams....😈 ohhh yeeeaaahhh

Pose to the left! Work it!

...Show-off.

well i think my guy may be one of the weakest in terms of physical strength (after JP's guy) ........ dammit ....... but i think my characters other attributes make up for any deficit

😮‍💨

I mentioned it a few times (at least) that the limit was for individuals, so no one should be surprised.

That said, no one's above, say, Class 30 with their amalgam, so a Class 10 guy won't need to crap his pants...you're all still in the same league. A few other power-mesh combos are interesting, but none that boost strength to a ridiculous level.

class 30 eh? .... hmmmm..... shouldn't be too much of a problem then
