Upsets are always possible, but the experience does help.

Anyway, that's fine if EsteemedLeader wants to take over newjak's guy for the loser's bracket match. I can't let you make a new guy, though. Wouldn't be fair since you know everyone's combos and strengths/weaknesses and such. But you're more than welcome to take over Mauler. The match will go up in a few weeks.

d'oh... just realised... i could've choosen Dr Nick from the Simpsons.... he must have killed more people than the A-bomb

you should let the people in the losers bracket trade characters (but only if they agree to swap... no stealing picks)

i mean the component characters... not the whole amalgam

Since it's not a life-or-death match, that'll be something fun to spice it up a bit. Good idea. If you're in the match and are opposed to this idea, just don't trade (I honestly can't imagine it'll happen too much...most seem happy with their picks). But as of now I'm allowing it.

Both parties will have to 'ok' the transaction. Simply state the transaction (In this thread please) and once both have accepted it, it can be official. You can PM me too if you like.

Example -

Dizzle: KVD and I are trading Drizzt for Darkhawk

KVD: Yeah, it's cool with me too.

...and I had to think of an exciting new battle locale for this bonus match. I think it'll be fun. The most exciting area (imo) in the regular matches already happened (the zero gravity chamber) but there's a few not-so-normal ones left, so those should be fun as well.

here that Sentry ... Warlock... whatever.... you might be able to make a half way competent amalgam yet!

Um, AW mentioned Scoob being one of the losers soon, which got me thinking...

Are we doing the losers in round 2 (the current matches) in the 'bonus match'?? Originally it was just going to be whoever lost in round 1. I'd rather stick with that plan, since if we include the others there'll be a bunch of "Well I already beat {insert person} so if you're thinking about voting for him, you should vote for me." I'd rather just give them another chance, sans the round-2-losers, so that everyone fights at least 2 matches in the tourney.

That, and an 8-person battle royale is manageable to read an comprehend. 12? Much less so.

Hmm...I guess that wasn't really a question to everyone then, just a clarification of my decision (unless anyone strenuously objects).

Ah, the trash talk. Yeah, no more for this round's losers. Only round 1 losers get into the bonus match. But since there'll still end up with 7 people without a win, anyone still alive will know they at least beat someone so they can keep their dignity (though I'm well aware that, for most of you, anything short of the finals is a bust).

Esteemed Leader a Battle Royal you better kickass the guy I have vbshould own any of these guys heck I think he would own just about everyone save Khell and Maybe Shocktopuss but I doubt it so he had better run with the looser's braket and tear them to pieces.

Ha. Good, actual interest in the bonus match. Yeah, it'll be a battle royale, and I promise the setting will be appropriately epic.

Remember, those who have lost can trade characters (individuals, not whole amalgams) with others if they like. Both have to ok the deal, but you can maybe get rid of turds like Wolverine (just trying to anger fanboys...hehe).

Oh, and I'm allowing myself to vote in the bonus round. Let the brown-nosing begin. 😄

😂 hell yeah... after reading that it's a battle royal I'm most definitely interested in the outcome..lol.. wonder if there's going to be some teaming up and alliances of the sort.. should be fun to watch.....
