SW Risk - Rule the Galaxy: Here we go!

what about my casualty list etc?

Also remember to "transfer" your forces to any captured planets. And having 1 stormtrooper guard an entire planet may not be a good idea 😉.

My second planet is Obroa Skai...

If I read the rules right I will get 1 Risk card and 10 % reinforcements.
Reinforcements would be:
550 Republic soldiers (10 % of 5,500)
150 Mercenaries (10 % of 1,500)
85 Beast Riders (10 % of 850)

This reinforcements will be transfered to Obroa Skai to fill up the lines. Any number that is above your estimated casuality count (all Republic soldiers most of the Mercenaries and Beast Riders) will stay and defend the system.

Am I allowed to chose my next planet to attack ? 😉

Yes, you may, but I can't make a claim right now, I'm a bit swamped. Yes, you do get a risk card and 10% reinforcements for your next attack.

I want to attack Togoria

I'd like to attack Myrkr...

I'll get on Togoria in a bit when I go to work.

Claim on Togoria.

Nai, if no one claims Myrkr and I'm slow enough at work, i'll definately get to it.

actually never mind, I will not attack Sluis Van, I will go after Korriban. So now I am going after Korriban, please note the change

Claim on Korriban.

Hopefully Faunus can nab Myrkr.

I was just wondering if the map of Korriban is done yet. Also, what happened here, nobody has posted in quite a while, where did you all go?

Real life has this annoying habit of interfering...

Yes, it does. Faunus is busy with school, I'm swamped with work (This is our busiest season) and Illustrious is busier than usual.

This entire section seemed to have died due to real life. I'll get that Korriban up as soon as I can.

Alright, here I am. Didn't want to get piled on, so I've laid off this a bit. I'll take Myrkr, but I don't think I know anything of it. A brief synopsis would help.

Myrkr is the planet that has the yalasmari (sp?) on it. The yalismari block the use of the force. It is similar to earth, except with few/no cities, just forest, however there are hills, mountains, lakes etc. The soil is also slightly metallic. I know more but I cannot remember right now, sorry. I hope this helps anyway

Korriban

Dropped into the middle of deserted dunes, Lord Darkstar's forces find themselves seperated from the Valley of Sith Lords by a large chasm. On the other side, A battallion of 500 Dark Jedi have set up defenses, including entrenching deep fortifications along the long chasm. Behind them, they protect the Jewel of the Sith planet, dozens of tombs filled with Artifacts, which would serve as an invaluable tool for any conquerer.

The Dark Jedi all are armed with lightsabers at the read, as well as weapons you would typically find at a fortification, including several long rather cannons and mortars that are capable of bombardng enemies on the other side of the chasm. Each of them also carries a short range blaster, in the unlikely event a foe can weave their way past the fire and breach the abyss. They are of course, not hesitant to kill.

ok I just need some clarification about how I am supposed to get across the chasm. Also, about the cannons, how strong are they, how often can they fire etc.

Another thing, how wide is the chasm and how long is it? Also, about the sith base, where is its main enterence and how well is it guarded? Also, how many enterances does it have? If it is the valley, can I enter through the shyrack caves, the sith academy and come in through the back (where the sith are searching for artifacts in KotOR)?

Sorry, I just need some more clarification before I make up an attack plan.

Also, just for interests sake, what do the artifacts the I gain do?

The chasm is about 90 feet, and the bombardments can come across ever few seconds. All you need to do is breach the chasm and defeat the Dark Jedi, and you are into the Sith Pyramids. The fact that is the backdrop is really pretty irrelevant.

sorry, breach the chasm. I thought it was more like I am on one side of a canyon and they are on another side. From what you say, it is more like I start at the base of a cliff with a door in front of me, they shhot down on me and I have to get to the door. Please clarify that for me.

Oh, also, can I attack another planet at the same time?

No, there is a canyon, you're on one side, they are on the other. Get to the other side and destroy their fortification.
