What exactly mentioning these rivalry's has anything to do with this? Kyo got to Rival Ryu because KOF is SNK's biggest franchise, Iori rivals Ken because Kyo rivals Iori and Kyo is rivaling Ryu and the fued gets the most attention in KOF. Terry is Kens rival being America's strongest by the way and also wasnt Guile suppose to be the main character of SF?...just heard from alot of people around the web thats all.

I think that Capcom and Snk is great BUT........I HATE how SNK is doing lately to Capcom!! Not respectvol, street fighter is one of the most respected anime, and also one of the oldest and SNK creates Characters that have to match that ones of SF!!!

what?! In CVS terry does not rival Guile. Wtf. Terry is clearly the rival of Ken, they have a special intro, just like Ryu and Kyo do. ANywas in SVC Ken and Terry are proven rivals by thier dialouge. Terry VS Guile pfffft, how one sided is that?!

if you have seen the movie street fighter alpha when ryu becomes evil!!!! you can see that terry has absolutely no change to win, and during the street fighter 3 tournament he really stand a change against ryu
even kyu doesn't stand a change!!!, ryu is more experienced!!

If you are judging by Terry's and Ryu's respective anime series. Terry does have a chance, in the fatal fury anime Terry has fought GODS and came out victorious, what has Ryu fought and defeated according to anime series Sagat, Bison? You are totally wrong if you are judging by those standards I am not saying Terry would win but, you are totally biased, fan-boy.

Yes, i agree, gamewise Terry would definately have a good chance. As I said before, there are plenty of moves terry within the games could use against, Ryu, for instance. One easy way to defeat Ryu within the games (AI or human), is to use his repeated use of hadou-kens against him. just stay your distance and when he launches one just do a power drunk, gets him everytime. Also stay your distance and launch a powerwave when he throws a hadou ken to deflect, then imediately afterwards do a burning knunkle this can be repeated for an easy win (since these moves link so easy, ESPECIALLY in CVS). So I think Terry game wise is one of the most powerful characters in Snk or capcom.

I hate to say this to you 2D Master, but your assuming everyone has the same style of playing Ryu, for example "The repeated use of the Hadouken" is something that good Ryu Players only do as a keep away tactic or in a Combo. Both of your Hadouken defeating tactics gets blown away with a quick use of the jab Shoryuken.
