It took Superman more than one punch to knock Thor out.

Kyle could have taken the energy back from Photon if he wanted but instead he absorbed the Cosmic Cube. Not a bad choice. Which leaves the question if he absorbed the power of a Cosmic Cube could he absorb Norrins power also?

Doom absorbed the power cosmic. He could theoretically absorb OA energy as well. Any decent energy manipulator could absorb the power of a cosmic cube.

It's only canon on these forums.

I'm always the one in the GL threads saying, "Give them enough reason to whup your ass and a good GL is beyond Skyfather." But no one ever listens, and Surfer, Superman, and most herald level beings are given a fair chance to "beat" a GL.

GL's are susceptible to LOTS of bad writing...more than most characters. But yeah, give them a good writer and an inspired cause, and anyone this side of Galactus better watch the f*** out!
