Many parts of the bible dont conform to one another...especially the gospels.

Judas is just another fresh point of view on a subject where there is essentialy nothing written about.

* yes...

"There is something God does not know" would mean "God does not know EVERYTHING." These two statements are the same.

* i just said, i didn't say that...

* the point is, do you believe that there is something God does not know?

So Jesus was not God when He was on earth?

* according to the Bible, Christ is still a God when He was here on earth, Colossians 2:9... 😉

😆 That saying's not historically accurate though...Ra Ra Ra, Shis coum bah...I would assume you were going for?

Well, Ra, was pronounced "Ray" back in Egypt...Now most people know it as "Rah"

Party pooper! 😛

....

...nice stuff Deano. I have a feeling plenty of threads have been made like this (one of my recent ones was similar) and the same people listen and agree and the same people ignore it. Can't say we haven't tried though.

🙂

Jesus is not the Sun of God 😕

It does seam to get rather redundant when it comes to who post's in these types of threads, doesn't it?

These threads never get redundant.

Not at all...The threads are just fine...It's the people who post in them that get redundant.

Jesus was, is and always will be God. To understand the Godhead requires one to be indwelt with the Holy Spirit and substantial bible ONLY study.

I find these arguments funny and pointless.

That is why I think you are so confused, you think you have the Holy Spirit. You have no support for it. I make the claim that I have the Holy Spirit. Your counter claim is that since I don't agree with you that I do not have the Holy Spirit. I come to this conclusion because you claim that the Bible is made known by the Holy Spirit, and that I do not know the Bible. Thus, using the exact same reasoning, I claim that you do not have the Holy Spirit.

Now, how can you prove your stance and invalidate mine, as far as which of us has the Holy Spirit? I use the Bible. And by the Bible my beliefs are validated and not shown false. Claim what you will, your claim is as valid as mine. Until you have evidence that does not have its own conflicts in Bible text you will never prove your point.

If you take all your claims about Joseph Smith, 2 Gods, 3 different levels of Heaven and on and on I would say you have the "unorthodox" explaining to do here.

Actually, this all started with the original-series Star Trek episode, "Bread and Circuses." The outcasts on the planet (trying to survive the harsh, Roman-like rule of the dominant culture) would say to each other, "Blessed be the Sun"...at least, that was how Kirk, Spock and McCoy interpreted it. It turns out that the outcasts were really saying, "Blessed be the Son," referring to Jesus.

arrogance will always prevail i suppose

Unorthodox from the stance of those that disagree. That is my point. It isn't a matter of Bible, it is a matter of interpretation. I am sorry, but from the first splinterings of the Catholic church there has been claims that contradict orthodox beliefs, your differences need as much explanation as mine do.

Just because many people believe something does not make it the right way. We disagree, that is all.

edit: although I do claim that God made the statements that are differing my religion from the orthodox, while other religions do not claim this. I personally view this as being a more valid claim for that reason alone.

It is an actual episode, but my post was a joke. Sorry. This is why I don't quit my day job (another joke). 😮

Who is Virishna? Could somebody give me a link to some information on him?
