So why would Jesus say... "Father... YOU [not me, or us] ... is the ONLY TRUE GOD"?

Jesus is praying to the Father when He said that.

Because I believe that was the human part of Jesus's existence. The flesh is weak. The Father is also not emptied and therefore Jesus must rely on the Father for strength and guidance.

And why would Jesus say "Trust in God; trust ALSO in me" if He is God Himself? What's the purpose of ALSO there if the God He is referring to is Himself?

The Father is incomplete without Jesus. Jesus is needed to reach the Father which is why we must also trust in him.

jesus is god.think of it like this jesus is the body, god is the soul and the holy ghost is the spirt.

ok heres an other example ~please don't think so hard on this~if your arm hurts it send an message to the brian that tells it it's hurt.therefor the 3 are one(as in an body)but they are diffrent members of that body

So when God became Jesus whom you said is also the Father... did He split Himself apart into two: the Father and the Son... and the Son had an amnesia and He didn't know that He was the Father and lied to everybody when He declared that the father is the ONLY TRUE GOD?

I believe that he split into two. He was not lying when he said this. In this he is declaring himself the true God with the Father. He knew he was the Father. 'Anyone who sees me has seen the Father' sort of thing.

The body is different from the soul and the spirit... If Jesus is God... can you say that your body is also the soul? Whatever happened to philosophy?

He said the ONLY TRUE God is the Father... He didn't include Himself. Isn't that clear?

Yes, but he also states that he is one with the Father. Thereby including his Spirit. However, the flesh is not God.

That one tells the relation of the Father to the Son and the holy spirit... The example your are asserting is not proving that Jesus is God.

He is one with the Father... in what manner? Can you cite me the exact verse, please/?

Dont tell me it's John 10:30.

That is one. But I was thinking of John 17:10
"All I have is yours, and all I all you have is mine.

John 17:11
"Protect them by the power of your name - the name you gave me - so they may be one as we are one.

John 17:21
"Father, just as you are in me and I am in you."

edit: And what do you have against John 10:30?

I didn't see the verses proving that Jesus is God.

All they are saying is that "The Father and Jesus are one".

...Not "one God".

God is in all of us too... Are we also God?

And how can you prove that God splitted into two when the Bible is not saying so.

And I have nothing against John 10:30. It doesn't prove Jesus is God anyway.
