Jesus Christ

Is God and Jesus the same person?

* there are many misconceptions about the word "God"... however, in the Bible, there are two things the word "God" refers to...

1 --> refers to the Father as His name... the Father is called "God" in most of the passages in the Scripture...

2 --> refers to state/nature of being... when Christ/Word was written and called "God" in the Bible, it does not mean that Christ is also the Father...

* the Father and Christ are NOT the same person... John 14:28 says the Father is greater than Christ so it obviously mean that Christ is a different entity from the Father...

* but if we are talking about the state/nature of being of the Father and Christ, They are both spirits, They are both Gods, albeit in John 10:30 Christ said He and the Father are one...

Logic is Satan

Also, Christians don't believe in Pi (as it is contradicted in the bible) or gravity (as it is the devil incarnate)

* pi and gravity are not in contradiction with the Bible, never have i read such a thing... a true Christian, in my opinion, believes faith and also accepts general truth (science)...

They don't realize that you cannot "pick and choose" with science. 😂

Creation of the Earth, Man and everything. Water into wine and any other "miracle", I could keep going but I think you get the idea. 😉

Now, we both know that is not true.

* that's general truth/science?

* the origin of everything is not explained even by science... the others, like miracles, are for believers and their faith...

* i was expecting something like PI or GRAVITY which the Bible does not even refute/talk about... 🙂

???

How is the creation of man not explained by science?

How is the creation of the Earth not explained by science?

How is the creation of the universe not explained by science?

Now we may not have the "correct" answer to explain man or the universe but science does try and explain these things so how is it that you say that it doesn't?

Miracles are in the Bible that contradict science, so how is that not relevant to your question?

* i know there are a lot of theories from science regarding the Creation... and that's the way of science of "trying" to explain it... so if it's only a "trial explanation", it's not general truth, therefore the Bible does not contradict anything regarding Creation... if science has its "trial explanation", the Bible should have its fair share since theories and "trial explanations" are not considered as general truth... fair enough?

* i'm not saying it's irrelevant... i just said i was expecting something like the pi or gravity argument... 🙂

The real question is: How dare republicans use the words "God", "Jesus" and "war in Irak" in a same sentence.

Why? If you read the OT, the god of the bible was always at war. You don't think that Jesus or god would be a Democrat, do you? 😂

Where does Saddam keep his CDs?

Ofcourse you can pick and choose with science.

You can believe in evolution but not believe in the big bang.

When your doing an experiment you can ignore the bits you don't like and just concentrate on the results you want.

Not true. Review the life of Kepler. You are repeating an urbane legend propagated by Christian fundamentalists.

Are you smocking pot? Jesus come on earth to deliver a message of PEACE.

War =/= Peace.

I mean... you know... they are like... opposite?

I think that Jesus and God would vote for Ralph Nader or Green Party, something like that.
