(Nice to see you have left the cesspit of the Conspiracy Forum to join us in the GDF/Religion world btw)

I used to frequent this forum and the philosophy forum when they first started up, but it just got boring.

Things get boring quite quickly for us morons....right shaky?

I believe the person often reffered to as "Jesus Christ" was originally named Joshua Bin Joseph.

But I believe it's pronounced Osama Bin Obama

According to history the Roman Catholic Church changed the real Name of the Hebrew Messiah and replaced it with the name Jesus.
These are the same people that changed the Sabbath.
Do you know why?
Are you sure you want to pray to Jesus Christ?

An angel of the Lord instructed Joseph (Jesus' legal father) to name the Son that his fiance (Mary) would give birth to "Jesus," because He (Jesus) would save His people from their sins. The Name Jesus means "the Lord i.e. YHWH is Salvation." The Name Jesus is the English equivalent of the Hebrew Yeshua. The Name of Jesus carries authority in Heaven, on earth, and under the earth i.e. in Hades, Hell, and in other subterranean regions in the spirit world.

Matthew 1:20-21
20 But while he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. 21 And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins.”

The Old Testament i.e. Genesis to Malachi was written in Hebrew with some parts in Aramaic. The New Testament i.e. Matthew to Revelation was written in Greek.

Emmanuel.
Which literally means "Lord With Us" or something like that.

That's correct. Jesus is the Greek rendering of Joseph. Since Jesus didn't speak Greek, it would have been Joseph that his contemporaries referred to him as.

Why would want to pray to a dead man regardless of his name?
