Jesus Christ

personally I dont believe in Jesus, god, christ etc. maybe there was a person back then called jesus and the only reason he might of been crucified is because he was a loony/crazy person who believed he had powers and could talk with his father. so the only way to get rid of him is crucifing him. and the bible is just something a person wrote in order to entertain themselves since they didnt have radios, tvs etc. I dont believe someone has powers and could create the world, animals etc. were just born, eat, $h!+ and struggle in this real world which is actually hell. I believe jesus is something people invented just like dragons, wizards, elves, fairys etc.... this is just my own opinion and I believe all of it is just an urban legned. and also I do enjoy dragons and all of it but its just for enterntainment it was never intended to be real in life 😮‍💨

I think we'll let the credits role on this one...

what do you mean by that?!?

Do you know that there is an Earth under your feet, and the Sky over your head? Do you know that the wind is blowing? Do you belive that you are a part of nature? If yes, you are rather close to paganism 😉

none of what you mention though is any proof whatsoever that there is a god that exists.

I think it does....

I think the model for Christ was probably a rebel peasent with a completly different name.I think the Gnostics where proof enough that the story of Christ wasn't to be taken literaly.

What are you implying....? and what does this have to deal with any evidence that god exists...

So is the theory of evolution. Should we screw that too?

We have evidence that evolution exists....
The Big Bang theory should be screwed though...

St. Fransis of Assisi saw the finger prints of God in creation. St. Faustina saw the divine mercy of Christ. Many things in life require that we walk by faith, but not all things. That is why God gave us science. It is why he gave us our intellect. The knowledge to prove things are what they seem...

I do not say that wanting proof is bad or wrong. Thomas wanted proof and Jesus gave him that by showing Him his hands with the scars. But Jesus also then said " Blessed are those who believe without seeing". It also says in the Bible that by faith we shall be saved because we need to trust in God and trust in what Jesus did for us on the cross.

That's the word I couldn't remember, Kristos.

Kristos (or Krestos): (Greek) Literally, Christ. Esoterically, fire. Christ is fire.

The Adorable God Kristos (Christ) comes from archaic cults to the Fire-God. The letters P (Pyre) and X (Cross) are the hieroglyph which represent the generation of the Sacred Fire.

Actually the word Christos is the Greek equivalent for the Hebrew word meaning Messiah. The Jews were expecting a Messiah but not the Greek people. The word Messiah means "anointed one" and this had no meaning to the Greeks, the were not expecting a Messiah, so they used a similar word in Greek to bring the gospel to these Greek people to explain the concept of Jesus being the saviour.

The Jews were expecting a David like warrior king to rescue Israel from the Romans and give everyone would peace. This king will be their Antichrist leader. They rejected Jesus because he didn't measure up to their standards. Jesus simply came back to bring Israel spiritually back to God not the physical part, they Jews were on there own on that point. I read several Jewish sites based on their messiah and it is the same thing 2,000 years ago and they reject him the same to this day.

I actually commented on your insight about Christians taking part in cannibalism (the body of Christ and his blood and so on). If you took part in Communion then you know that it is symbolic celebration for Jesus who's blood was shed for our sins and his body for our healing and becoming part of him. Their is no drinking of blood or eating of flesh and neither was that ever the meaning, but when you want to make a mockery of something it is easy to take it out of context and twist it around. I have been a Christian for 20+ years and know what it is about.
And for pagans howling at the moon, well maybe they believe in werewolves.

Once consumed, Catholics believe that the communion wafer and wine literally transform into the body and blood of Jesus.

Actually it's all inquiry. What we have found seems to prove it may have occured if not already occuring. If you ask me, the Theory of Evolution and God have a lot in common...

There's no reason why evolution and creation/spirit may not of accrued together to some extent.

Peter Kreft (sp?) said the same thing in his book Making Coices. I would quote it but right now i'm too lazy to get the book...

I am not Catholic, and we take communion in remembrance of Christ just as he instructed the Twelve in the Bible. He never told them to imagine consuming real flesh or drink blood. He said " Do this in remembrance of me", nothing more.

True, that is why they did not see Jesus for who he was at that time. They wanted to go to war against Rome and God sent them someone to free them from sin not to wipe the Romans away. Ironically more gentiles including Greeks accepted Jesus as the Messiah/Saviour/Christ as Jews did. If you read Revelation you will learn what the punishment of the Jews will be for crucifying Jesus and what price they will have to pay for atonement.

People mostly believe in religions because they were brought up in religious environment. Why should I choose one religion out from thousands? Why should I believe Bible rather than Koran or any other religious text?
