Well, I wasn't trying to be rude. But since your reply seems aimed toward me. I honestly do believe some disasters are attribute to human error. NOT ALL, but some. God is getting angry with the ways humans continue to live, times are chaning.

Just so you know I do talk to Jesus and he answers me,maybe not in words but I know he is their and he does not ever let me down. It may sound silly but its true. Perhaps God doesn't speak to you, because you don't have him in your heart. God is angry because people are straying from his Word and way, he is showing us his wrath. Someday you will realize this.
I have done all I can here. I'm letting God handle the rest. I probably should keep going, but I see that y'all are set in y'alls ways. I will leave y'all with two things to thnk about. 1). Jesus Christ, God's one & only Son, died on the cross for everyones sins, because He love us all. 2). Jesus loves you.
I've said it once, I'll say it again: Church makes you as much a servant of God as sitting in your garage makes you a car. It is your heart, not your actions, that do the love God thing. I DO commune with other believers, however. Fellowship IS important.😂 😂 brilliant way of putting it

I'm confused (maybe all to often). Hurricane Katrina was a weather system (albiet a bloody big one). A weather system that can be plotted. That can be analyzed. A recognisable sequence of events caused by other weather systems in Earth's (so far) unique Eco-system. Scientists have even been able to simulate hurricanes in the lab environment (although some Christians will claim that these tests and others like them were lies to discredit their faiths choosen deity). So how can a naturally occuring event, which is the result of other naturally occuring events be accredited to a spiteful (love me or I'll punish you) deity, using it as an enforcement tool (again love me or I'll punish you!!).
I'd be grateful if some one from the Christian camp were to clarify this for me.

God, destroyed Gomorrah, He destroyed Sodom, and Babylon. New Orleans (not all of LA) has a lot of sinning especially around Mardi Gras. I am not saying that is the only place of sin int the world because its not. But look Voodoo,Heavy drinking and partying. I am not saying its the reason the hurricane hit there and I am not saying its not its just for something to think about. And as Jedi said "I have done all I can here. Thats a bit of a blind view isn't it. The supposed birth place of Christianity (the middle east.) For years they have warred, raped, sodomised, mutilated and generally been pretty shitty to each other. And shitty to the rest of us. Lets not forget the germans during WW2. They wiped out thousands of people and commited some hateful horrible things. Where was Gods righteous smitting then?!? It seems if something bloody horrible happens its Gods way of punishing us....and what about the innocents caught up in the destruction....collateral damage?!? Sounds a pretty clumsy God to me....

God works with SCIENCE not against it, gods existance doesn't mean he does EVERYTHING; In the case of Hurricane Katrina it could be both ideas but it feels more likely to be just nature.

You clearly haven't read the Bible before, the Bible personally says that the Jews are important to god, and it personally says we should be nice to others aswell, so the christians at that time DID NOT read the Bible properly.
