Magneto v Phoenix (his beaten her before) well a doppleganger has :)

I don't think the Phoenix renders any of its hosts unkillable. I think they can be defeated in combat. The very fact that they can feel pain proves that. So yeah, I think there are people who can kill Jean or Rachel. I just don't think you can physically kill the Force, since it's an abstract. When GS writes his essays about what the role of the Force is, he's talking about the Force itself. Killing an avatar of that Force is not impossible, but very impressive. GS knows that and he knows that it means nothing to the grander role of the Force. So those scans of an AVATAR being beaten aren't PIS or plot device, but if they're Whirly's attempt to show that the Phoenix Force isn't important or powerful, then those scans don't show anything at all.

Either way, from a factual perspective, Whirly doesn't have much to go on and he knows it. I think Whirly isn't doing anything more than being annoying to Cresh and GS and you guys are both so obsessed with winning that you're letting him do it. He's inside your head for absolutely no reason, and THAT is his real motive behind this thread, nothing more. I mean, just look at your essay-length replies and look at his one-liners. C'mon, guys! lol.

The best thing to do it post your scans and let the readers decide. If they're sensible, they'll know who to believe.

This isnt cycle isnt about winning because the debate was concluded when i posted those scans. For me it was just a bit of fun and banter between a strongly opinionated poster which i enjoy. I know his game dont worry about me. If anything Demi join in the fun.

As for your statement on Phoenix. What you fail to understand is that its just an energy source. A power derived from the Crown. Your still seeing it as an entity with a role in the multiverse. Thats not the case. Jean is the one who with the integral role in creation.

I would, but I have other fun stuff to do instead. Like a tooth extraction.

And it sound like Whirly is having more fun than you or Cresh are. lol.

You're telling me the Phoenix Force is devoid of consciousness? Untrue - Phoenix Force isn't the Power Cosmic, it's a thinking being with a specific role, to play the creator and destroyer of all life. Galactus wasn't talking to himself when he survived the previous big bang....

Either way, Phoenix Jean is beatable and killable. Phoenix Force is not.

It was something I read in the 'Ultimate Guiled to The Fantastic Four'. the info given suggested that the child of Rachel and Franklin (Hyperstorm) would have the power of both his peers. And yet he was beaten by Glacatus.

Vague term. Hyperstorm's feats weren't nearly as impressive as Franklin's. Just because it was speculated that he'd have both powers doesn't mean he does. Besides, it seems as though the Phoenix Force isn't always inherited anyway. Cable and Nate are extremely powerful, but they don't have Phoenix Force-level power. Ditto with Rachel and Jean when they're not serving as an avatar for the PF. Hyperstorm probably just inherited the standard Grey/Summers super psionic powerset. No PF involved, really.

PF isn't a genetic legacy. it depends on the individual.

After all Queintin and Storm in another universe had phoenix powers.

It's actually that "Omega level mutant" theory thing again 😐

there's a theory that the Omega Level mutants have a potential to tap into the PF. . . Even if they don't, they might have the ability to.
