Hey bro im on your side remember, but that poster is not the only one who thinks Wade is better than Kobe. After the NBA finals im sure Wades wife got real jealous with all the man love he was getting from the BSPN hacks. Especially Mike Breen and Tim Legler.
Wade is an awesome talent and has all the tools to be an all time great but he needs to add a consistent outside jumper and get much better defensively to be close to Kobe's level imo. There was no doubt that Wade's game was exposed somewhat in the World Games, where the refs weren't giving him the generous calls he gets in the NBA. But he seems to be a hard worker and im sure he will continue to improve, unless he starts believing his own hype (same goes for LeBron).
You should be used to less than favorable opinions when it comes to Kobe Evo, he is probably the most polarising player in hoops today.

In no particular order.
Kobe, Duncan, KG, Shaq, T-Mac, Amare, AI, LeBron, Jermaine and Wade/Francis/Nash.
I posted this about a year ago on the first page, it hasnt changed much but here's my new list (in order).
1. Kobe
2. K.G.
3. LeBron
4. Duncan
5. Wade
6. Nash
7. Dirk
8. A.I.
9. Carter
10. T-Mac
This is based on skill level, i would put KG ahead of Bron and Wade because he has a more complete game on both sides of the ball. Same with Duncan being above Wade. My list would be in a different order if i was only looking at offense. Also im not sure how Amare is going to come back after such a terrible injury so i left him off.

Interesting. Just thought I'd point out something else you've said Kool:
"Another thing i like about Magic is the work he put into improving his weaknesses, he was never a great shooter or defender but during his career he improved them both to a level where it didnt hurt his team. In fact he was often looked for to take the game winner, which you wouldnt ask of someone who cant shoot."
Just felt that this seemed like a reasonable thing to compare based on two of your statements. I'm not saying that Wade is Magic, but it doesn't need take a consistant jumper and great D to put somebody ahead of Kobe in your mind. But yeah, just some parallels that I've noticed.

The point was that Kool does. That quote I took about Magic from Kool was when he said Magic is the second best all-time behind Jordan. Therefore you are now calling Kool silly for saying Magic is better than Kobe without posessing those qualities (in a sense).
Ok lets make this easy so there is no confusion. Magic has finished a NBA career spanning 13 yrs in which he won 5 NBA championships, won the league MVP 3 times, won the finals MVP 3 times, was a 12 time all star and is 3rd all time in assists. Before that he won a national championship at high school and college level. He could play any position on the floor and revolutionised the PG spot. So do i think after a career like that he is better that Kobe (who is probably just past the half way point in his career)? Hell yeah i do, thats why Kobe isnt on my top 10 all time - because he is still playing and i have no idea what he will accomplish.
Now we have Wade who entering his 4th year, he has some of the same weaknesses as Magic namely defense and outside shooting but do we really have to compare their resumes? I would think its quite obvious why i would say Magic is better than Kobe but Wade is not. Magic had one of the greatest basketball careers ever, Kobe himself has achieved alot more that Wade and is a better all round player skill wise. Wade has a long career ahead of him and i dont have a crystal ball to see what he might accomplish when he's career is over, but right now Kobe is better than Wade imo of course.
i definately think kobe's better than wade, but not as much as you guys are making it seem like. i mean, wade isnt leagues under kobe. wade has a good potential to become as great as him. its just comparing now, its no question that kobe's better. but you guys are also making it seem as if wade is a bad defender. he's a decent defender imo, and he's quick and athletic. he also gets quite a few key blocks and steals. so his defensive #'s arent that bad either.

Don't worry, I agree (with both of you) that Kobe and Magic are better than Wade. My only point was that Wade (when his career is over) could be considered better than Kobe and that it is possible for him to achieve this without a great jump shot or defense at Kobe's level.
But yeah, I just saw parallels in Kool's comments on different subjects that I thought were worth pointing out and that was all I was doing.

I think Wade is an average defender, he does get alot of steals and blocks but thats only half the story when talking about defense. He doesnt move his feet well to stay in front of his man, but that is something he can get better at if he wants to. He has all the tools to be a great defender, but its really up to him. Rumour has it he wanted to work on his defense with Kobe this summer (at Gary Payton's advice) but with Kobe's surgery he couldnt, so that to me at least shows that he wants to improve.
