Question. Does anyone remember episodes prior to this season where they mentioned alphas? I can't for the life of me remember, but for some reason, I recall them mentioning it before. Perhaps the mythology of another show is bleeding into Supernatural, now that I think about it.

They talked about it in Buffy before.

Yup, it is not a bad show, but it is worth watch. For me, It is OK.

Last nights ep was certainly interesting and has me looking forward to next weeks to find out whats going on....somethings up with Sammy but who knows what it is 😬

It was an of episode. I'm very intrigued about Sam. I was glad Dean kicked ass last night. Hes usually on the other end of the ass kickings.

yea. of course, im just going by what i saw in the previews of the next episode.

i have a theory.....this seasion is all about souls.....think about it Crawly wasn't gonna let bobby have it back.....why fight for it so hard? originally i thought it was because he was a demon but no it's deeper then that....remember the angel(Balthazar) that took that kids soul? he said that a soul is something of priceless value. and now with tonight's episode....

with Crawly being the new king of hell and keeping sam's soul locked up and wanting to find purgatory so badly(i mean he's obviously lying about wanting to expand) maybe he needs the souls to keep his title as king of hell because it gives him all of his juice

that's my working theory.

What I love is how all those hunters are giving Dean shit and saying he is crap. I mean its not like he didn't hunt Lucifer or anything...

i know that actually makes me angry because he's like a hundred times better then any of them and he saved the world but they treat him like a frikkin baby.

i know somewhere down the road, Dean is gonna bust all their balls and then laugh in their faces cause their gonna need his help.

I think they didnt want him around because hes too smart and wouldve figured out what they were up to. I liked the addition of Purgatory to the Supernatural mythos.

Me too. I liked how he didnt even thought about it. He just pulled out the gun and was ready to shoot.

its like both Winchesters are sheer badasses now and nothing can hold a candle to them.

IMO theres no way that Crowley is the one that has Sam's soul...Even if he is King of Hell. He's still limited to the rules of demons. He'd need to have made a deal. and even then I doubt he could have brought back Sam without his soul. He's prolly just being Crowley and taking advantage of the situation. Or Best case scenario he's working for the real mastermind imo. The only one I can think of off the top of my head who'd be willing and able to do that is Death. But then again there is this supposed "Mother" of the Alpha Vampire. Maybe she's part of this.
