I think it's strange how every scenario re Bond involves Clive Owen--but he's never the favorite! First scenario, it's between him and Julian Mcmahon (btw, which guy on "nip and tuck" is Mcmahon? Then the second possibilty is Dougray Scott and Owen again--with Scott being the odds-on favorite. If I were to bet, I'd have to say the next Bond will be Scott (you heard it here first)...
Actually, it seems as though Julian McMahon has all but nailed the deal, he has had another audition and they seem to favour him the most. And yes, the only other candidate with a hope against him appears to be Clive Owen...well, so much for my fav choice for new bond Ioan Gruffudd...*shrugs and sighs* ah wells, bond is bond I suppose, there will be no one as good as Sean and Pierce.
Decomposition: thanx for posting the pic of Mcmahon. Have only watched "Nip and Tuck" a few minutes here and there. Btw, will Mcmahon be able to fit a Bond movie into his schedule? His series is a hit; can't see him leaving it. Not that big a problem I suppose.
Connery was a terrific Bond yes, but George Lazenby--even though he was Bond only once--had the role nailed down. It's one of the things imho that make Bond movies so good: all the Bonds had a good rendition of the Bond character. Connery had his style of Bond and it worked, but so did Roger Moore. Moore used his wit more than his fists like Connery did. Dalton was acceptable as Bond but not real remarkable. Brosnan was a great choice to be Bond. Of all the Bonds I think Brosnan was the easiest choice to make; he's the perfect image of what James Bond should be. What does everyone else think?
