Exactly. I should have mentioned, the next selected Bond can be someone famous, and it can be someone who's starred in previous films, but it has to be someone who is believable for the role, will best adapt to the character of James Bond and will be recognized for it.

Yes, Bronsan has made some other movies, but is he recognized for James Bond, or for the role he played in Mrs. Doubtfire? The answer is already obvious. 😉

Ewan McGregor sounds extremely good for the role.
Now that I think about it, John Travolta would had made the smoothest bond of all.

I wonder why Julia Roberts was never a bond girl. They put Halle Berry in, and Julia was a prostitue in pretty woman so... its something I have to ponder.
Plus shes a good actress.

Speaking of a new bond I just watched the titbits on the OCTOPUSSY disc and was gobsmacked with the James Brolin screen test...yeah, I know he's NOW too old for the part but back in '82 he sure looked the part... ✅

Hugh Jackman has the humor and dangerous attitude,(wolverine: X-men), of Sean Connery who was the best Bond in my opinion and has the size, build, and right age to be believeable as a super secret agent. Also the star power to make the Bond series continue to be successful. Hands down the best choice. So what if he isn,t English. His ancesters were and "down under" is the cool evolution of Englanders,(no disrespect to Britons infered or intended). Thats Jackman, Hugh Jackman.

I forgot to mention in my first post, i.e. "next Bond, James Bond", that I believe Bond should remain English, or Scottish, or Irish, or from "down under", (New Zealand and Austrailia did fight as British soldiers in Briton's wars didn't they?). Hugh Jackman could do it with the style of a any previous Bond. I saw a rumor of maybe making Bond an American. I am an American and proud of it BUT Fleming made him a member of Her Magesty's Secret Service and this is what makes the series classy and unique.

don't mention american when specking about BOND, some bond fanatics would beg 60+ year old Connery to play BOND 21, and you'll get your anwers for that "american" in bunches....but i do agree with Hugh Jackman...until i'm proved otherwise..

The biggest critisism Denise Richards and Terri Hatcher got for their role was that they were known before this already and therefor didn't fit the picture
