Obviously not solely, but you said that this one was so female, generalising obviously, and I'm still puzzled as to how you can call it that , when it wasn't even a female who came up with the practice to start with.

Generalising? Hahaha, no. I said it seemed spiteful and female, I never said all females use it as a form of retaliation and I was basing my comment on the fact that retaliatory actions from some women include acts that I've never heard of any men doing as much as women. I never said men never do it.

Wrapped up in a nice little package now I hope.

Like the poisoning I mentioned.

And most guys would just beat the hell out of the other guy. Or shoot him.

I don't know what most guys would do or not, I just know that from my experience, revenge and retaliation from females seems to be drastically more spiteful acts than rage acts.

Hence why scarring a man for life with hot oil, seemed to me, to be of "female" attitude.

Now if he ended up beating her up really badly for any of these reasons, but the information wasn't available, are you telling me that you same people in this thread wouldn't be calling him horrific names and judging him the same many are judging the woman?

Actually i was recently in a relationship with a chick kind of like that. Man......that was interesting 😂
Imbecile that kept physically molesting me and i just held back cause well.....she's a girl. Kept telling her either to stop or go away. Didn't stop till she broke my glasses and i snapped. The rest....isn't interesting 😗

So far as I'm concerned, NO domestic violence is justified, whether in revenge or not. But as I've said, I prefer to hold judgment until I have enough information on the case to form and intelligent and informed opinion.

As much as Id like to continue hashing this out, it's time for Smallville so Im outta here! Ciao~

I never even thought of it being as self-defense, which is actuallly a fairly good possibility.

See? More details on the case are needed.

Indeed, it is only a possibility...there could also be many factors involved like cheating, insurance scam, freak accident, child custodial dispute..etc..etc...let the investigators find all the clues.

Precisely.

Actually, it turns out that you just hate women and have unresolved feelings of resentment towards your mother.

Yep, and had you hit her you woulda been judged by most people the same way this woman is being judged. Gotta love the double standards genders present. If a woman scoulds a man because he abused her, it's almost tolerable and to some women, something to be happy about -

"Not to mention if she was beaten, she could easily claim temporary insanity, and battered wife syndrome, and get off with very little time, good for her I say.". -Silver Tears.

If a man hits a woman for abusing him, he's a badguy to many of these same women.

With Female/Male issues, it takes a truly intelligent female to debate without the C.A.S kicking in.

Did you say investigators?

I think the only reason she opted to use Boiling Oil was that with at least with Second Degree burns it would have been difficult for the husband to retaliate.

What i mean is that this 49 year-old woman would have already suffered in the past at the hands of retaliation. So she used something that would hinder her husband from aggresive behaviour.

If she argues that she used boiling oil to hinder an agressive form of attack that she may have sustained in the past (and this is where previous police reports may come in handy) she may as well win the case on pre-emptive grounds.

I don't hit ladies unless they seriously beat on me.

Yes, I agree. This is what I found at the scene of the crime

Well most men would rather have their arms or legs amputated than their precious one-eyed monkeys.

If a Father had to choose between the life of his daughter or the life of his you-know-what, I bet you ten bucks he would hesitate.

Well you obviously know very little about men. Although the "one eyed monkey" as you so put it, is of course a valuable part of out anatomy, if my children's lives depended on it I would give it up in a second, which I highly doubt will ever happen, cuz what kind of weirdo would say "I'll kill your children unless you cut off your genitals."
Oh and as a woman, tell me truthfully, do you really think men value theirs more than women value theirs? Although we may be a little bit more outspoken about our little friend, I'm willing to bet women enjoy the company of theirs as much as we do. So don't go around saying that all we value in this life is our genitals... its just too cliche.

I gotta agree with AC on this one, and most women will also agree, when they THINK about it, that women are in fact more spiteful than men. Pissing off a woman is MUCH more dangerous than pissing off a man, it may take more to piss a woman off to that extent, but once it happens, run for the hills. And they also remember things for longer, you could be laying in bed at the age of 50 with your wife and she could bring up the time you took her candy at the age of 7 and make you feel bad about it again. Women have that down to a fie art...

Women in history are also very brutal in a lot of cases, in ratio a lot more so than men. Look at the Amazons. Even women in mythology, read up on it, and you'll agree with me.

that must be cause they are far more sensitive than man.

They go about collecting straws on their back and wont speak their own mind on the particular occasion. Bit by bit as the pressure increases, then when the final straw breaks their back, everything flashes before their eyes (and thats when you have to run for the hills !) and its all unloaded in a viscous recall.

even in the animal kingdom, the females are far more agressive than the males.

Sensitive is being emotionally affected easily. Not being emotionally affected easily and then proceeding to guilt the man to Hell for a mistake (and I've been there). That's about as insensitive as you can get.

I do agree though. From my experience women, in the moment, tend to think that "it's not worth talking about". So they say nothing's wrong, we've all been there, men and women alike. Then when they decide it is worth talking about, they unleash it after it's been building up, as if they want to fight with their boyfriend.
