The Chief on the other hand is the main character of one the most critically acclaimed (for reasons no one can fathom, as it's not that brilliant) game franchises of all time... and even now not one but two new Halo games are coming out just this year. He's the mascot of Xbox as well... He's what Mario is to Nintendo and Sonic is to Sega.

And if I had to rank the top 5 most recognized and famous game heroes I'd say Lara be up there with Sonic and Mario. i don't know who else I'd put there though.
