If this is the picture you're talking about then it can't be from 06. The page itself looks incredibly old. It even states that it has a button for him to activate the beams which is something he hasn't done in a while. Are you sure it wasn't REpublished in 06 even though I doubt that because what would be the point of republishing an outdated model of his visor?

I've also heard it was thought controlled but never seen a picture of it. As far as I know, it is still controlled by a button in his gloves.

the handbook even states that cyclops' energy boost from electricity was a freak occurance and most likely won't happen again.

i dont know i just have tho book.

but as said before his visor exploding isnt important.

Storm beats Scott easily. We saw recently in "Worlds Apart" where the Shadow King possessed Cyclops blasted at Storm. She called down lightning in front of her which deflected the blast away. So she has excellent defense against his power and he has no defense against hers nor does he have any way of avoiding her environmental attacks.

actually rutog your right.... she does have excellent enviromental attacks that will cripple him on their own.

as he fires at her she would just deflect his attacks all the while lowering the temp bellow what his human body can handle. and as he struggles from hypothermia she would just h2h his frost bitten ass. lmao i forgot about thoes possibilities.
