yes it can, because comic characters that are supposed to be just human simply aren't. they have higher durability than the average non comic human. they always have. scott's been shot twice in recent years and took f*ck all time to heal. he had a bomb implanted in his chest by bastion that had to be carefully removed. he took a couple of weeks off to heal and was back in action not too long after.even storm has been hit in the head with a brick and been relatively unharmed.
of course it doesn't, but even if it used half that. that's 30 tons.
a normal human can have a few broken ribs and a severed arterie and survive. after surgury they can be back up in weeks.
a friend of mine was in a car crash and he was in critical condition, after surgery he was back on his feet, even wrestling within two weeks.
he isnt the only character that survived being plucked by a sentinal or even stronger.
comic book characters that are human level. are considered human level unless their profile says enhanced this enhanced that.
in that case storm can survive a stone to the gut thrown by hulk.. and we both no thats bullshit. so scott actually being able to survive a class 60 hit is bull. though there is no description of how hard that sentinal hit him.

when scott broke his ribs, he still took on half a dozen x-men trying to kill him and won.
as has also been said, he was shot twice with little to no after effects. he was hit in the face with a brick, and all it did was make him bleed. no bone damage.
most comic humans survive things no normal human would, scott included. it happens all the time.

Cyclops wouldn't need surgery, hell he would walk away from the crash.
He's the one of the only ones with his durability.
Actually no, feats trump profiles.
So wait Scott's durability is bull even after we show him taking a lot of damage more than two times, however Storm being able to affect Surfer only twice is considered the norm for her power levels? 😐
Sentinels were made to kill mutants, why would this one hold back?
