I think Iktochi have to concentrate to use it. Not a wise idea in dueling

Nope, actually. He had to concentrate in order to not use it.

Hmm...In Darth Maul, the Iktochi bodyguard has to concentrate to read Maul's mind..

In JvS, Saesee explains his ability....Was the bodyguard Force-sensitive? That boosts the natural ability to ridiculous levels. (See Vos' psychometry for example.)

Not made clear if the guard's force sensitive or not, but force sensitivity means the proficiency increases, but it's not always on or Quin would be reading things every time he touched something.

Complete Visual Dictionary cites all four of those who attempted to arrest Palpatine as "celebrated swordsmen." And the official databank lauds all of their prowess.
The databank only notes Tiin to be a "formidable warrior." You'll note that I never said he didn't belong in the top ten, but he has no showings whatsoever that would put him above Fisto, Ti, and especially Kolar.

So... um... as Kevin Spacey would say... "WRONG!"
Die.

Meh, I'd put him above Kolar...but I admitted he should probably be below Fisto and Ti. I blame TV for my mistake.

How would you put him above Kolar when hasn't done anything? Kolar tooled Quinlan Vos and was actually noted by the narrator to be one of the greatest "bladesbeings" ever produced by the Order.

They were both chosen to arrest Palpatine, weren't they? That suggests some parity in skills.

LOL @ "bladesbegins!"

LOL @ Faunus being a complete failure at everything but eating!

LOL.

Anyways, Tinn, Kolar, and Fisto are all celebrated swordsmen and all of them are lauded for their prowess by the databank.

[Kevin Spacey] LOL GIDEON IS RIGHT AND FAUNUS BLOWS! LOLZ! [/Kevin Spacey]

It means he was one of the best available. Yoda and the rest of the Council believed that Mace and Agen alone would be a force sufficient enough to handle any threat.

haermm

Yeah, *****. Fear it.

(you didn't punctuate the "ream [Gideon] for his insolence" line)

...Saesee's got horns. He looks a lot cooler than Agen.

Nah. Kolar, being a Zabrak, is automatically cooler than poor, neglected Saesee.

He's the stupidest looking Zabrak I've ever seen. He looks like a shittier version of Worf from Star Trek.

Saesee is cooler by virtue of his battle armor in the CWC, which he used while raiding a CIS ship. That whole scene was awesome.

EDIT: I think I just turned into a minor Saesee Tiin fanboy.

GODDAMN but that armor was badass.

And Saesee in the Dreadnoughts of Rendili conflict? Win.
