I know it's the GAMMA IRRADIATION that altered his body and gave him his color by altering his physiology. That is unimportant, there is obviously some compound in his skin that gives off that color when it's hit by light, given that he takes mass from a pressumably different dimension, we don't know if there are metallic components in any of hulk's enhanced tissues. Now, obviously he ain't green cause his skin's emmanates gamma radiation, or else he'd pretty much kill everyone around him, there's some compound giving him that color.
I love when people come up with absurd circumstances like 'Apocalypse can stuff his ass with adamantium.' Yeah, and Hulk can bend Apocalypse's ass into a pretzel, tie him to a balloon, and walk around the fair with a candy apple in his other hand. But things like that don't happen. Opponents, no matter how evil they are, don't fight like that.
I meant MAGNETO!!! The apocalypse explanation was above, he'd teleport him into space and teleport back without him.
As to why I came up with that, it's because the new god-like hulk can't be injured by adamantium blades like he priorly could be. Non-god-like hulk would be in serious trouble thus against mag at his strongest(with tons of adamantium blades nearby)

Alternate timeline, where from what I've heard the hulk was BEATEN AND NEARLY ENSLAVED By Thunderbird!!!(don't know if that's true) If true, IMHO, mag with half his power gone, beating apocalypse in a FIST FIGHT is just as preposterous.(the fight was very short, and mag managed to concentrate while taking punches that should've killed him, Apoc had badly owned mag in the prior fight and knocked him out in like one punch.)

I've gotta agree with you, Arachnoid. Magneto usually has to focus that hard only when pulling off something truly monumental - like a global EMP, or switching the north and south poles. Did he have to strain while focusing when he pulled all of Wolvie's adamantium out of his body? No.
Yes, Magneto could easily manipulate the iron in Hulk's blood - depending on the writer and story arc.
Put it this way: it is ENTIRELY withing Magneto's abilities to do so, but he has been inconsistently characterized in comic books. In the New X-Men, he only flipped the magnetic poles while pumped up on Kick. In the X-Men relaunch, he unleashed that global EMP while sipping lemonade. Even in Uncanny 210, he pulled all of that cold weather out of the upper atmosphere (freezing that sentinel) with relative ease.
Magneto is so much more versatile than Hulk, and one could make an argument for either character...but I see the stronger, more compelling arguments for Mags.

it doesnt matter what colors. hulk is a main character. the winner of this match would be making a statement for marvel. there is no way that they would let magneto win. for another thing about trying to control the hulk mind via telepathy or whatever...since the hulk has multiple personalities, that couldnt work.

Now, to say that Hulk is the hero, and that he would win because of it, is half true. Hulk is neutral, always has been. We've already been over this. Stop going in circles. If it was an actual comic, it'd either be a draw or Hulk would come out on top. Since it isn't, the better fighter should win. Magneto has this in the bag.
well in that case then it is settled. in the marvel universe, hulk would either win...or tie, but never lose. the only reason he would tie is because magneto would run away.
now outside of the universe...say in 'Arachnoidfreak-reality'
magneto would have this in the bag. but most readers and fan of the two characters, i feel, would choose hulk to win...hence "where is the poll"?
