Thor may know scinece better Thor is much smarter in mystics Thor just has too much raw power for Storm to cotnend with. Seeing his power output is greater he simply will Storm's ability to manipulate weather by simply telling the weather to not be manipulated because has more power and command over it then she does.

Now, If I was to make an argument that she could take control of XYZ elemental, it would be fair because of the probability and the relatedness the aformentioned events.
And it's STILL not about who can beat who.

And he probably has better fine tuned control over the wind as well. And by creatin ain in Space he has already shown he can make Atmospheres now combine that with hte fact he has far greater power than he can flat out do anything better than her.

When Thor wants to make an enterance the entire sky goes black and thunder and lighting covers everything as far as the eye can see. I think that is much more impressive when simply going on slight of whim enterances.
