I was waiting for a fanboy like you to come up with this.
Thor doesn't need the hammer to control weather, the hammer just boosts his powers.
Thor was controlling storms and creating them when Ororo wasn't even born, he'll create a so much powerful Storm her mind will be ****ed up from the feedback with too much power and then she'll die.
Optionally, Storm will pass out from using her powers too much. That won't happen to Thor 🙂
Thor 10/10
Battle of weather - Storm vs. Thor!
Ok this match is not the usual match, it's a test of who can damage the other using only weather effects, the most. Only weather effects are allowed, no godblasts, Thor tossing his hammer, etc..
Now Thor has far greater durability, and Storm seems to have a stronger control of the weather.
So basically the question is this - if they fought using weather effects alone, who would blast the other into oblivion first? Would Storm be able to shield herself from Thor's mystical lightning, since it takes several seconds to come through, or would she redirect it back at him?
Fight takes place on an open grassy plain in Kansas 🙂
Storm has greater control over the weather than Thor? She has to manipulate preexisting weather patterns to do anything, he uses magic and actually creates weather patterns. And because of her reverence for nature and the earth I bet the goddess/bright lady she is always praying to is none other then Gaea, Thors mother, who has absolute power over the forces of nature on earth, a gift she apparently passed down to her son.
Stalemate. Storm is immune to weather phenomenon Unless Thor can make nanite rain or anthrax dust storms or sumthing. Thors Mystical lightning simply activates Storm's Sorceress Supreme persona
if Thor Was allowed to use his physical strength and Dimension rift properties in his Hammer Thor Would break the Stalemate and Win 10/10

This is serious? I'd wager he'd be just as immune being the god of thunder and all. Now I am very interested in this mystic lightning turning her into a sorceress, and what is mystical lightning? He uses magic to do what she does with her mutant powers and more, but I didn't know his lightning was made out of magic instead of electricity, I thought he just used to magic to you know cause lightning.

In the scan where Thor strikes Iron Man with his thunder, Iron Man's armor detects the weather anomaly 4 seconds before it strikes. Therefore it seems that he's using his mystic abilities to create the charged particle buildup, but not the thunder itself, or at least that what it looks like from the scans. In a similar sense, Storm doesnt' create the thunder herself, she manipulates the atmosphere in order to release the thunder / weather patterns. So it seems to me that they are both manipulating weather patterns, just one is mystic and the other is a mutant characteristic.

I see, I understand that about the lightning, but I was under the impression that the power to manipulate weather patterns were part of his power just as much as creating them. You know like how Storm can end a draught one place, but she has to take the moisture from another place, causing another draught, I remember reading that if Thor wants to make it rain it just does without "stealing" weather from another place, because it's magic and he's the son of the Earth, that's why I see him winning a majority.
