The best voice ever.

Started by The Core15 pages

Complete with alcoholism bouts.

Joacim Cans - Hammerfall
Tony Kakko - Sonata Arctica
Hansi Kürsch - Blind Guardian

Eric Adams from Manowar has his ups and downs as well.

Chris Cornell.

In the studio, Chris Cornell is one of the very best. Audioslave is an outstanding band. But, I'm told that he really isn't all that great live. Personally, I decide who's best based on all environments.

Ive seen some performances around the time of Out of Exile where his voice sounded really strained and weaker than usual. But on videos before and after that, his voice is as good as it sounds in studio.

Amy Lee - Evanescence

Enya

both are hauntingly beautiful

I LOVE HANSI!!! 😛

Err Jeff Buckley for me, Grace is one of my favourite album.

Hansi is a good singer to be sure. I've been listening to a lot of The Who lately and Roger Daltry definitely has one of the best voices out there.

Brad Delp, Chris Cornell, Steve Perry, Scott Stapp, Chad Kroeger, Myles Kennedy.

best voice: MF Doom

It depends on your preference. I think the first three can be included as some of the very best ever in technical ability, though I personally think that the last three aren't so good in terms of actual skill, but have a very decent quality. But a lot of people around here seem to hate Scott Stapp anyway.

Brad Delp and Steve Perry have impeccably high vocal ranges and an alarming amount of power. I've seen Delp live and I've seen clips of Perry (who is considered to be one of the best live singers in rock history), and both are amazing.

To me, Cornell sounds like Freddie Mercury and Roger Daltry's love child, which makes for an amazing combination.

Edit: Holy shit. Delp just died recently. I didn't know that.

Like three days ago.

Yeah they took down the website and everything...it's too bad...But yeah a lot of ppl do hate Scott Stapp but I think he has a great voice. Chad Kroeger isn't very loved either but I like his gravelly voice. Myles Kennedy's soaring vocals are pretty good to, at least to me.

Jim Morrison

As of now, he's just about one of the worst singers alive.

^^ Lol.

I agree, I hate Ozzy's vocals.

My favorites would have to be

Maynard
Michael Jackson
James LaBrie
Angela Gossow
David Gilmour

these come at the top of my head.
